It’s not if just when Pike is gone. Might not make the end of the season.

Like Greg never should have been able to sign an extension. Was under contract and hasn’t been good since he signed his extension.

The season was over before it started

Money will certainly matter to prospective coaches. Even if Pikiell is fired, who will take the job with our current NIL situation? Zinn better have some funds available if she expects to hire someone better than Pikiell.

Money might not matter to you or be the reason you wanna roll with but nobody is going to touch this job without some financial promises or commitments

you guys not wanting to acknowledge the canary in the coal mine will realize even if it doesn’t matter to you and you wanna win without it nobody is going to take a bottom tier big ten job without some commitment from the school to actually try and win

Keli needs to beef-up R so-called Athletics Excellence Fund and just get rid of Pike. I get she's laser-focused on NIL and the early reports are encouraging, but we need to walk & chew gum at the same time. $50/mo from just 25k RU fans = $15mill/yr, it just can't be that hard to organize by RU Athletics Admin.

Fran has always had Pikes number with the offenses he runs, and now Pike cant even piece together a competent defense. He will have possibly the two best players on the court with Roberts and Powers and they are better than CCSU. A loss at home after we get smoked by SHU will be full blown disaster territory

Way too much hand-wringing over this loss.

UM has just demolished RANKED Auburn and RANKED Gonzaga by similar margins and scoring total on a NEUTRAL court.

We played UMichigan just as well on Michigan’s HOME court as Gonzaga and arguably Auburn did on a neutral court.

Michigan may be having a season for the ages. Announcers were calling these three games the most dominant performance by a college basketball team in the past decade to 15 years.

Think the attacks a tad over the top. If our loss was HORRIFIC then what does that say about the similar Gonzaga and Auburn losses.

Michigan beat Gonzaga by 40. My problem is going to touney we recruit Reiber and Jalen Miller. Two big misses.

The team sucks, they’ll lose by less to worse teams than Michigan but an L is still an L and Pike is still a lame duck. There’s no way to contort the analysis to come to a different conclusion.

Steve Pikiel is a crap D1 high level coach. Period, Full Stop. Saw his ineptitude in the NCAA games years ago. Nice he got us there but he's way out of his league. Thanks Hobbs you a hole.

Thank God I am at an Earth Wind and Fire concert. Hopefully it will ease the pain of the last week of RU sports.

I said the same thing nobody’s wants to hear it

this game is a waste to dry to draw any conclusions about the team

Michigan is having a historic start to the season

doesn’t make it a less embarrassing loss but there’s really no takeaways from the game

that being said my feelings that the program is in a bad place exist regardless… the administration has their work cut out for them

id take any of the players Seton Hall brought in over our portal adds in Buchanan Euros and Francis. Seton Hall brought in men,and dogs. And they are all in the same NIL range as our additions

pikes eye for talent has faded . looks who he’s brought in since geo /harper crew graduated? spencer for one year and that’s it. i don’t count ace and d harp because that wasn’t him. How many busts / how many difference makers? i don’t think there are any i can think of . how many busts/ non difference makers? pretty much everyone else .
