we can’t dribble, shoot , pass or defend . Not a good combination. And we are limited athletically as well. None of these guys start on any other big ten ; embarrassing
RU looked like my daughter's middle school team trying to break the press. Thankfully UM stopped and took some pity on us.
Other than that, this team is okay.

Even in Pike’s early years we used D and rebounding to compete better than this against good teams.
We had better talent then now we have to pay money for talent which we don’t have
I’m not sure what anyone was expecting Michigan won 3 games against ranked teams in Vegas by an average of 34

We paid Buchanan, Francis, and the 2 Euros — and none of them bring anything to the table. Pike should’ve at least paid for dogs. We brought in 4 guys who don’t play defense.

I am a die hard basketball fan. I chose to put up lawn decorating for Christmas instead of watch the game. Poked my head in a few times to watch a few possessions. And was horrified at how bad we look. Literally look like Detroit junior college vs a conference opponent. Pike is done man. You can’t field a team like this after last years epic fail.
Like Schiano, Pikes defensive schemes have passed him by. Simply creating chaos and effort isn’t enough. Teams are way too skilled and well coached where all it leads to is dunks and open look threes

The issue is we can’t afford the buyout and at the same time raising NIL with a lame duck coach is not feasible

JMike is useless too, can’t play D, can’t shoot and can’t can’t create. Shelby would rather give his minutes to Mark at this point, who at least can take it strong to the hoop and has two years more eligibility

I don’t think he’s done. Look, I think we have some pieces but nowhere near what we need to compete with deep pockets of Michigan. I really like Powers, Mark, and Zrno. We will always struggle without a competent front court. I really feel that Myles Johnson was our best big man and we will struggle until we can find a player or 2 on the front court who can make a difference. And how long ago did Myles leave the program? It’s been a while. Francis and JaMichael are over their head a bit. You really can’t use today’s game as a barometer for this year. I’ll be more critical about losses to teams in the B1G not named Michigan, Purdue, Illinois and Michigan State this year.

Pike teams get dunked on more than the Washington Generals. Pike doesn’t realize his ****** offenses lead to easy run out baskets. He will call it effort. Others will call it lack of basketball IQ

yep. we have barley any skilled players . and we are limited athletically and have limited shooting. You can’t tell me pike couldn’t have gotten more skilled players or better athletes for the same money. at least one or two. it’s horrendous roster management two years in a row with generational talent last year. put anyone with a pulse around those two and we dance

That’s fair but if we’re going to hang our hat on that game as the reason money isn’t the problem we can keep hanging out with Boston college as the embarrassments of college basketball

there’s 100 issues that the administration and AD have to address

The money excuse is complete nonsense. It doesn't take money to teach proper shot selection. It doesn't take money to teach rebounding. It doesn't take money to learn to how close out on the perimeter. Steve Pikiell needs to be fired yesterday.
It’s not an excuse for why we’re losing by 50 but it is a reason why we’re never going to be competitive in the big ten and anybody who thinks we will be without an infusion into our budget is crazy

Do they need that money no but they sure as hell will benefit from it that’s what we’re competing against
