WTH is going on with your football team. By now, Frost should have righted the ship. Since I don't follow your team can somebody fill me in please.
I honestly thought Frost would turn Nebraska around in a couple seasons. But, what you guys are telling me doesn't sound to promising. Well, good luck the rest of the way. Maybe another recruiting class will help. Thanks for the input.
Let's be careful with the revisionist history. If we don't go after him hard, he's likely coaching at Florida. There was never any waiting aroundI never thought he was ever going to be successful at Nebraska. Expectations were way too high for him.
He had one successful season at UCF. Needed to wait before going after him and see if he could sustain the winning and that it wasnt a fluke.
But he was Mr. Nebraska and the emotional attachment effected the decision and expectations of the fans.
Why make a stupid thread about how ****** we are when all you have to do is read through any other one? But c30 pretty much nailed it, except I disagree on the inserting LM into the heated game. He had four drives and got us zero points.
He could also have had the Oregon or the FSU job.Let's be careful with the revisionist history. If we don't go after him hard, he's likely coaching at Florida. There was never any waiting around
Not quite brains! He would need to lead a scoring drive in 7 out of 10 to be ahead of AM.So.......... if he had another 6 drives, and netted 7 points or more off of those, he would have been ahead of our starter.
The Florida state job is a complete train wreck. I bet he wishes he had the Oregon job though. He could also have had the Oregon or the FSU job.

Who is to say he wouldn't be having the same resylts there though. The Florida state job is a complete train wreck. I bet he wishes he had the Oregon job though.
I don’t see how anybody could have seen this coming. Frost was the national coach of the year after the 2017 season. To say you saw this coming is just utter bs.
That is partially correct!Your still wrong. LM first drive was 3 plays negative 30 yards
He may have to grow into the job more than we'd like to admit. Someone asked if he was ready to take the job when Riley did and he said no. Then he goes to Central Florida and kills it. There was no where to go but down. He could probably maintain 10 to 11 wins per year at the old job. He was going to get plenty of talent within 2 hours of Orlando. I'm willing to be patient has he figures this out. My biggest concern is that we have a rough year and our recruiting falls off because people don't believe he will last much longer. He's got to keep recruiting at a high levelWho is to say he wouldn't be having the same resylts there though.
Maybe through Husker colored glasses you couldn't see it coming. But as a non-Nebraska fan, I could see and also predicted this outcome.
The state of the program of recent times, coaching carousel, over enthusiastic expectations, fans too blinded by Frosts Nebraska connection to see how limited of experience he had at coaching in spite of one successful season (in a much weaker conference). One Coach of the year / undefeated season at UCF doesnt translate into being a good solid coach in the BIG. There are plenty if examples to prove that.
All of this made it obvious to me that it would not work out from the beginning. But of course no Nebraska fans agreed and had visions of national championships in their heads.
Thank you. I know I'm right. I corrected my error and admitted it.Yes you’re right. We scored zero points with LM at QB
Thanks. And you're still wrong.Ok you’re right
To be fair, that was HORRENDOUS play calling by the coach. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing EXCEPT McCaffrey.BTW: He had 1st and goal at the 2. And we ran 6 plays and still didn’t score.
I wish he'd gone heavy set, release the TE and hit him in the corner of the end zone. I should really start sending plays to Frost again. I bet he'd appreciate that!Play calling sometimes feels like a kid playing EA NCAA football. Like last game they found out the direct snap to the iback was a play so they did it a couple times for the hell of it.. flea flicker was also a strange call. Most idiotic was the play selection on the two yard line after the refs gifted us a PI call.

Figure out how to beat Penn State, win against Illinois and get some momentum the rest of the way. 5 and 2 or 4 and 3 are within reach.
