You’re right! Every team likes to be raped with a National tv audience in a New Year’s Day Bowl game for the whole world to see. Especially after the other teams players called them out and flat out told them that they haven’t see speed like UCF’s. Kind of like watching your mother getting gang raped and shrugging it off and saying it was just meaningless sex. What a feeble excuse for the weak minded.

Auburn was still the better team. Turnovers were the difference in the end.

Well that got graphic.

No they weren’t. Anyone with eyes who watched the game saw that UCF was better and faster in every aspect of the game. UCF should have won by 4 scores but for missed opportunities. Those turnovers were the result of relentless pressure on their QB who spent most of the game either running for his life or on his back. The only reason the score looks closer than the actual on field game results is that Auburn scored a last minute touchdown in garbage time.

This is going to be a rough year, but Frost will get you guys back to being championship contenders in no time.

Saying that this team isn't well coached != not wanting SF to be hired as HC. He may still get it done here at NU, but I think the odds are against it after seeing how this year has gone so far
I really think it's difficult to change a lazy attitude in a short period of time and let's face it they were coached by bad coaches for 3-4 years

The problem is, we haven't seen proof yet that Frost will be able to bring to Nebraska the type of speed and athleticism needed for his offense.

I'd feel a lot more optimistic if we had a Top 15 recruiting class for 2019 with a lot of fast athletes. But currently our recruiting class is underwhelming and has very little speed. And performances like this are not going to help.

Ask Texas about top 15 classes or Norte dame stars aren't always the answer cutthroat bill had high ranking classes and he lasted 4 years

Huh? Martinez and Washington are the two best talents are their positions since Callahan was here. Frost had half a recruiting class so far. we have a few good athletes on the 2019 class but it’s hard (impossible) to be top 15 recruiting. when you’re 0-3. Hell, being top 25 like we are is impressive. You’re going completely pessimistic over 8 spots in the recruiting rankings?!? When we have had ZERO success on the field. We will get top 15 classes once we start to win 8-10 games a year. This is going to be a slow rebuild where success on the field will result in more success recruiting. But you’re doubting based on three games, one signing class with a couple of game changers at key positisions and being 10 spots too low in recruiting.

Got it. Truly stupid post. Mind boggling.

Yeah, you probably had no other choice than to reference gang rape of mothers.

Of course I had other choices, but the words I chose illustrate just how vile I found the poster’s rhetoric to be. Again, sorry if I offended your midwestern sensibilities.

Did Frost get carried by Mackenzie Milton?
We are predictable on offense due to inexperience in the system. Hopefully we get better as the season goes along. The kids need some confidence. To bad we don't play Bethune Cookman next week. I don't think we are going to gain much confidence against the Boilermakers. They look pretty good today.

The point is we're not recruiting the speed we need for this offense. And we're not recruiting the talent at offensive line we need. We only signed one offensive lineman last year, and he was a guy that was already committed to the previous staff. That's not getting it done.

They had two months to recruit last class...

I feel genuine sympathy for Frost, his staff and the good Nebraska fans. On the other hand, I am lmao at the Nebraska trolls who have inundated the UCF boards for the last 10 months insulting us, as I would expect Nebraska fans to feel the same way if UCF were to suck this bad.

It will get better. Much better. Have faith.

No one, no one, no one, expected this team to be winless at this point. We all thought NU would struggle to compete with the better teams in the conference - but no one expected Michigan would toy with Nebraska this way.

There is no way to sugar-coat it. You can't heap all of the blame on Riley-Eichorst-Diaco. Some of it has been bad luck, but I expected Nebraska to be playing better than this. Instead, they look worse than they did last year - and last year was beyond awful.

Exactly. Texas has recruited top10 classes for like forever......and they've lost to Maryland last year "and" this year.

That's actually not true. Until this year, Texas hadn't had a Top 10 recruiting class since 2012. Their 2017 class was ranked 31st. Their talent had taken a hit under Brown and Strong. Herman's bringing the talent back.

Now look at the teams that actually do land Top 10 classes every year - Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, Oklahoma. You'll sense a pattern there.

The rebuilding project will take a few years. I think that 3-4 years is more realistic. I drank the kool aid...now the kool aid buzz has worn off. Next year might be our 6-6 year.
