Surprised that Greg has time to coach what with reading these boards and all.
When he left us to take the Tampa job a week before signing day, I said I understood. There are only 32 NFL head coaching jobs in the world.
When he gutted our staff I gritted my teeth and said nothing.
When he came back a year later and took Robb Smith, I said that was a douche move.
When, FOUR YEARS after he left, and he has yet to once show his face on campus, I see he's actively helping a division rival, I thought that's a scumbag thing to do.
When he whored himself out to USC, Miami, USCr, and gave us the finger I said now he's dead to me.
Greg Schiano is dead to us. So is Kyle Flood. Julie Hermann. Rossi. McDaniels. Today Ash settled all FAMILY business.

It's cute. But Coach Ash really does admire GS. So there probably is no animosity at all.
I don't hate Schiano
I think it's all in good fun.
Schiano did a great job building us up from total sh*t to pretty darn good in a relatively short time, and gave us plenty of good memories and hope.
Now it is time for Ash to take us to the next level.
I think the relationship between Schiano, Meyer, and Ash is great for us. I would Ash maintain a great relationship with both of them as the coaching.community is a relatively small group, and Ash will need to draw upon it in the future for different reasons (advice, assistant coaching candidates, references, etc.)
The fact Meyer has genuinely spoken so highly of Ash is awesome, and a great recruting tool for our future staff.
If Ash alienates Meyer or even Schiano, we lose some of that IMO.
I am fine if tOSU and RUTGERS finish 1 and 2 in the standings. In fact, I think RUTGERS wouldn't want it any other way. Certainly don't want Maryland, Indiana, or PSU at that level.
