I know most of you probably didn't realize that Oklahoma State played a basketball game last night, since it wasn't televised and nobody cares about Oklahoma State outside of Stillwater, but we have to give them credit when it is due. We have been giving them crap, but they actually started the season about as strong as we did with an impressive 5 point victory at home over Oral Roberts. Now that might not scream "quality win" at first glance, but you have to remember that Oral Roberts is the 5th best team in the Summit League. Things are looking up in BFO.

Cade could have been fine picking OKST and I think UK fans would have been fine with it if not for the trolling childish BS. Having Cal cancel a fundraiser to fly down is one thing, but doing it out of nowhere right before we are about to play #1 and playing the Drake song that says I rock Kentucky blue in the background showed his ***. Sure he's a kid, but there are plenty of kids that have resect at that age. I thought it made him and his family look bad. He came off like a classless asshat. It really wasn't as great a troll job as it could have been with some build up because it was like ok and then we had a big exciting game to turn our focus to.
At this point, Cal is trying not to be a hat on the table but Cade got him. I assume by flat out lying and manipulating. I bet Cal will become even tougher now after moving on from Todd, Green, and Christopher this year. Had Cade gone to Dook or UNC it would have been like dam this really sucks. Now we have to deal with that on our way to a title next year, but he's going to Stillwater LOL. In the end, after having a day to think about it it's just Next and UK isn't for everyone. He will be no more than the next Trae Young trying to carry a bad team on his back in a pretty good conference. I would assume with who is left and who has OKST on their list OKST will have to fight really hard to avoid the NIT. Cade also can probably kiss #1 in the draft goodbye in such a great class that will be playing with other stars that make them look good. While he will have to do it on his own and at best with some other 4 star Freshman.
Even though I don't think they will do it I would love to get OKST in Rupp next year for the Big 12/SEC Challenge since KU will probably be down and we are playing TT this year. At least he could experience Rupp once although I doubt he would enjoy it.
Time to turn our focus to some bigs. It would be nice to land Jackson as a start and then maybe a top 10-15 guy. If not I really hope we continue the trend of Grad Transfers like RT and Sestina.

Meh, beating Oral Roberts shouldn't have been that hard, as he died quite a few years ago. Impressive he made it that close.
More UK fans still in their feeling over a 17 year boy. So weird. We're soon to be ranked number 1, have a great, not good but great recruiting class coming in, and yall are whining about a decision a 17 year old kid made. How embarrassing.
I'm not a conspiracy guy at all, but this does seem a little to coincidental. Maybe there is more to the story like suggested or maybe he was asked to do all this once he said he was all in with them, I don't know but it does seem to be a bad move on his part.
I like reading insight into recruits process etc but I dont get wrapped around the axle on recruits. We get who Cal signs and go with it. If we wanna play "what if" theres alot more to think about than a lost recruit.
