You almost lost to that "just OK" coach at home in his first year with a 4-8 team and true freshman QB. Somebody sounds nervous.

So...Milton was a soph this year....and will redshirt next year to rehab? Wonder what the chances are that he ends up here. If he wants to play pro.....Nebraska may be a better route than UCF. I know, we just had a losing year....and UCF has been on a roll. But in two years....things will be totally different here.

Pretty sure this was milton’s junior year... too lazy to look it up... but his freshman year was 6-7, 13-0 as a sophomore.

To add to huskerfan66, the announcers said he has one more reconstructive surgery in a month or so, but they anticipate a complete recovery. Everything that has happened to date in his treatment and recovery has been as good as can be hoped for.

And yes, the plan is to redshirt next year and come back in 2020.

Milton's completion % was down 8% this year vs 2017, and his passer rating was 18 points lower. You're just not going to win back-to-back national championships with a dip in production like that. :D

Question for those smarter than me...does MM have the size and skillset to make it in the NFL? 18 months of rehab is a looooong time. Is he interested in coaching? Wonder if he'd just rather graduate and join Frost as a GA?
