Heupel is getting zero respect from media compared to what Frost got. I realize Frost built the whole thing up at UCF but Heupel still got them to 12-0 this season. Even in this game today, the camera shots are 50-1 for coach O compared to Heupel and no real talk from commentators on Heupels coaching. Sucks for him to follow the national coach of the year.

Not having Milton in this game made it tough. Heupel obviously did a great job keeping standards high.
Heupel did a good job this year, but UCF's schedule was nothing but cupcakes before today. Last year, Auburn, Memphis (twice), and USF were all good wins against teams that finished ranked. This year, UCF didn't beat a single team that will finish in the Top 25.
They are hanging in there with a top 10 SEC team with their backup QB. It’s not like they are losing to Troy at home

You could also argue they win the game with Milton. He's that good.

Oh yeah, Frost's already the greatest coach in college football history! Hell, he turned a 2017 4-8 Nebraska team into another 4-8 Nebraska team in 2018! Fantastic job! Should be a COY repeat! Lots of the same players are there still.. im glad you keep such good eyes on our state and our program but even you and your "others" know NU outcoached your beloved hawks this year. Nu just came up a little bit short. Same with a couple other games. Like both of the teams that played for the conference championship. He is in what appeared to be a cast and two crutches by his side. I never saw a shot of him other than sitting on the bench watching the game. Sometimes he had some teammates by him

To add to huskerfan66, the announcers said he has one more reconstructive surgery in a month or so, but they anticipate a complete recovery. Everything that has happened to date in his treatment and recovery has been as good as can be hoped for.
And yes, the plan is to redshirt next year and come back in 2020.
That's some major stuff. Best of luck to him and hope he has as good of recovery as possible and has good quality of life 35 years from now. Uncle Art Ritis can be a grumpy old man
