Well, I am not sure how playing him at shooting guard, instead of pg changes his shot? It ruined him so much that he was the 35th ranked player in his class, and left UK as a freshman lottery pick. Cal sure screwed up.
Cal is just silly, can't coach a lick.
oh well, maybe powerofpelrhrey can find another team...please

How many draft picks would need to come along with Westbrook in order to get Herro? Or would they trade them straight up?

Only kidding, but not really. :)

Sometimes the roster determines a players position. A player playing out of position might be what is best for the team. I could definitely see him play some point like Doron Lamb or Darius Miller in 2012 when Teague was off the court. Monk when Fox was out might be a good comparison too.

He played the point in Highschool and said playing 2 guard was an adjustment because he was use to having the ball in his hands and could get his shot off whenever he wanted.

I am not saying he should have played it exclusively just would have liked to see him bring it up more on fast breaks instead of handing it off to Hagans all the time when he was more than capable to bring it up himself and make plays.

Also, pick and roll game with PJ or even Keldon would have been nice to see especially at crunch time.

I would not even call it PG. Id call it our primary ball handler. Ashton had multiple issues during multiple games in the NCAAT of decision making, especially in key moments. Why not try Tyler out there? He has shown he has the skills and not good, but very good decision making abilities. His shooting ability also changes what you can get out of pick and roll actions.
I think there are multiple of variations of lineups without Hagans:

Herro, Quickley, Keldon, PJ, Reid Travis
Herro, Quickley, Keldon, PJ, Nick Richards
Herro, Baker, Keldon, PJ, Reid Travis
Herro, Baker, Keldon, PJ, Nick

Can also throw EJ in the big rotation or go a 4 out 1 in with Herro, Quckley, Baker and Keldon all on the floor at the same time.

To act as if there is no way to construct a lineup without Ashton Hagans is flat out incorrect.

In many way's for both Herro and Booker, being billed as shooters actually worked to their detriment while at UK. They were reduced to solely spot up shooters but are both guys who have flourished both before and after UK being primary ball handlers or at least being given more of a freedom to do so.
