OSU, Penn State, Oregon, Illinois…..all rated higher than the top Lil12 team 😂 🤡
What does any of those school have to do with the game this Saturday? You sound like a typical SEC fan, thinking just because you are in their league and lose to them time to time, it actually makes you better. You have a chance to do something that the squawks don't do very often, actually play and maybe even beat a ranked team. Let's say you do, does it count since you beat a team from the Lil12?

iowa fans calling any other fan base “dbags” is laughable. The iowa fan base has more than it’s share of said fans.

You passing judgement on ANY fanbase laughable.

A deranged Nebraska fan who has had god knows how many handles just to deride Iowa fans on an Iowa board...for years

You alone ruin normal Husker fans rep and hence earned the moniker...."Nebraska's Most Embarrassing Poster".

Any yet you are a 3 point dog to a Big 12 team. BIG is Ohio State and everyone else.
Nah. You don't know what you're talking about. Michigan won a NC 2 years ago and Penn State and Oregon are both top 5 teams this year along with Ohio State.

Again...we've all seen this ISU-Iowa movie before. As much as You want to look at each team and say one is better than the other, you can throw that all out this week.
It will, as usual, come down to special teams play and turnovers. It happens every year. It will be close. I say MG proves doubters wrong this week and we control the LOS and win 23-20. Drew Stevens kicks a 50+ FG for the win late.
Iowa will win by a bigger margin than that. At least a 10+ point victory for the Hawks.

No.
We haven't seen this movie before.

We've seen this movie before when the clowns are the underdog, yes. Many times. (Yes they've really closed the gap lately).
But Iowa rarely has been in this role, where the clowns look amazing and WE look not sharp at all.
It ain't the same.

You're the underdog for years, you're gonna scrap because you're tired of losing to your state rival.

The movie we've seen before is when the perennial loser is tired of being the loser.

I responded directly to Clown2's comment that "BIG is Ohio State and everyone else".

I don't think the clowns wants to compare their players on NFL rosters to Iowa's.
Someone needs to determine how much more money former Hawk players have made in the NFL compared to Clown players over the last 20-25 years. The difference will be astronomical & should be sent to every player with offers from both schools.......to help them make an educated decision.

You mean like Robert Gallery? He may be one of the biggest draft busts in history. Sport, without doing the numbers we may have one player making more than your top 10 combined. That certainly has to leave a lasting impression. But you should be thankful that he is giving your best TE a nice living.

Man I love the hillbilly comment implying that ISU fans are not as intellectual as squawk fans, when in reality their is not a bigger idiot fan base in college football then the average rube tavern squawk. Have you actually gone out and seen your fan base, some are decent, but the ones running their mouths like you do, are complete inbreds, heading down to the Walmart to get their new squawk shirt for the year, that matches their screaming chicken tattoo.

It is when you are the #2 pick in the draft and are expected to be the blind side protection for the QB for the next decade. You do not draft guards that high. Was he a bust for playing in the league, no, but he sure was a total bust as the #2 draft choice, that could not play the position he was drafted for. You are chosen as the #2 pick in the draft, people are thinking HOF ability, the guy struggled being a good NFL guard. Made a lot of money, but nowhere near what he was draft for.

Nice try, but Kittle was already an elite TE before your favorite game-manager QB showed up. Let's see how he does this year without all those elite weapons around him.

Regarding NFL earnings by school, run those numbers over the last 20-25 years. I guarantee it's at LEAST 5x in Iowa's favor.....Sport! :ROFLMAO: 🤡

I get a kick out of how many Clown fans walk around with at least 3 items of MooU gear......hat, shirt, shorts, socks, probably even tighty-whities with Polturd's face on them!

Speaking of hillbillies.....isn't it time for you to service your sheep/girlfriend?

Where is all the ISU OL in the league?

Struggled being a starting guard in the NFL? Damn you are stupid.

Where are the Clowns Outland Trophy winners?

Where are all the squawk QB attempting a pass or throwing a TD. How many receiving yards have squawk receivers had in the past decade in a game? Purdy will throw and complete more passes than every former squawk QB in week one, then the entire group has in a decade.

Since I know you're not smart enough to compare NFL salaries......I did some quick research for you. There was a gap between 2018 & 2022, so I only calculated the last 3 years.

2024 Iowa $103.8M (16th best); Clowns $31.4M (55th)
2023 Iowa $127M (15th best); Clowns $29.4M (72nd; behind Eastern Mich & Western Alabama)
2022 Iowa $119M (17th best); Clowns $12.3M (108th; behind Stephen F. Austin & Grand Valley St)

So over the last 3 years, our Hawks have made around 4.8x more than Clown players. But at least you've passed up the powerhouse football program of Stephen F!! :ROFLMAO: 🤡

FFS you guys, give it a rest. Are you really arguing about an Iowa guy from 20+ years ago and his NFL career?

Clone boys, just go home OK. We know that if you win you'll be over here thumping your chest like you do every time you get a W. That never changes. It's one game, not the Super Bowl. Long time scoreboard is on Iowa's side in virtually every category you can measure.

I'm guessing most recruits take into consideration which schools give them the best chance of making it to the NFL. NIL money is a big consideration also (along with playing in a P2 conference), but MooU could be hurting there as well unless Jaime gets really good at pan-handling around his brand new "Clown Town"!

It's a great sports cliche', but not exactly. With a few exceptions the better team usually wins. Rarely does Iowa lose to ISU and go on to have a great year.

Last 5 losses to ISU Iowa's season record was...

2024 8-5 (Iowa choked a game they should have won)
2022 7-5
2014 7-6
2012 4-8
2010 7-6

If Rocco Becht has a good day, ISU wins. Quarterbacks matter.

We will get our yards on the ground. Very concerned about our passing game - against any team.
Biggest concern is ISU passing game. Mobile QB who can throw well may be problematic for our D line and secondary.
If ISU puts up 24+ points I fear we won't keep up.

There have been three times that ISU has been this confident going into this game:

2009, 2021, and this year.

Just an observation.

There is certainly no question that NIL $$ is spent well in Iowa City. Proctor thanks you for the $100K cup of coffee purchased for him in Coralville.

Think Jamie will get that much in his tin can at Clown Town? I hope so…..feel bad the poor guy has to go begging for $$!!
