There seems to be a whole lot of politics on this board lately. Did I miss an announcement that this is ok now?

You missed the fine print when there is a world wide pandemic - you can talk a little non-sports with some politics. I think people have been pretty cordial considering the topics.

What sports would you like to discuss? In case you have not noticed, there is only one thing going on in the world right now.

I get that there’s no sports but I guess I was just a little surprised about what’s been allowed.

This deserves a new entry in the lexicon. Maybe “deadheaddawg days” - a period of anarchy during the covid-19 pandemic

So who is everyone’s favorite Nicaraguan Premier League team? Which one would be the Saints of the NPL?? ***

You don't have to talk politics. You can drone on and on about this pretty much being the end of our society, about how the economy can and will never recover and we'll have to work to age 130, or how the Russians and Chinese are taking over because we'll be in a never-ending world-wide depression, and how J.J. Grant finally got his eligibility granted. (Not enough attention on that last one.)

Flipping channels the other day and saw where ESPN had the Tetris championships on. Their executives have to be on suicide watch right now.

Fake news. Diamond Dawgs lead the West. Koestler on the bump at UAB tonight. Both basketball teams in the Sweet 16.

You people need to really get caught up on our success on the athletic fields. Big things coming for the Maroon and White.

Just post where you live so I can come escape the craziness too. I was told it was a worldwide pandemic.

I wish there were sports to talk about, but there is nothing. I come here now to see how people like me are dealing with this crisis. The politics aren't my favorite, but in the times we are in I prefer to hear the opinions of real people.

Did that come on after the rock/paper/scissors world championship? I turned it when the loser accused the winner of roiding. Nothing is pure these days.

Which is why this is one of the sites I visit daily. Good collection of minds.

How can you be surprised? Covid-19 is on everyone’s mind and should be. IF sports were continuing there would be sports discussions. For now, grin and bear it.

I get that there’s no sports but I guess I was just a little surprised about what’s been allowed.
