anyone else notice something very glaring when Geo checked out at the end? If not, no worries. I’ll delete the thread.

Saw he hugged his teammates.

I believe if we make the tourney he leaves. To him that’s mission accomplished. Can’t argue with that.

he means that Geo looked like he was playing his last game at the RAC.....I think it has been assumed that Geo, Myles and JY have all played their last game at the RAC - if any of the 3 stay, its a bonus

Clearly the fact that it seemed like the last time isn't "glaring," so it must've been something else.

This has been a strange year and I wouldn't be surprised if there were some isolated chemistry issues at this point.

There’s really no reason for Geo to stay if he’s graduating this spring. It’s not like he’s going to the NBA if he stays another year. Wish the kid well in his future endeavors as he heads overseas to make a few bucks.

THIS,,,, makes no sense for GEO and JY to stay if they can get paid overseas...If Myles can get into Stanford or Cal, its also an opportunity that is too good to pass up. Whether they end up here or not next year, fans should be thankful for all they have given us, and hopefully building the foundation for years to come

Actually I was kind of thinking the opposite. Maybe I’m nuts.

I’ve seen star seniors crying like a baby walking off. Especially PGs. Most recently shown on media clips - Jevon Carter hugging Huggins in tears. It’s an emotional day regardless since there’s a chance it’s the last, but it certainly didn’t stand out as if it’s a foregone conclusion.

Stanford pulled his scholarship offer when he got hurt in HS. Would you go back to someone who, when you were down, they chucked you out with the bath water?

It would definitely explain the fractured chemistry we’ve seen a lot of this year. All that said, let’s save the speculation stuff for the offseason. Games to play still. Big games. Games we haven‘t seen here in 30 years.

When the camera came off Geo and went back showing the game, look at Paul jumping up and down for his walk ons while others were hardly watching.

I noticed that also but what is that telling us.

also if you watched JY Instagram live you would see everyone dancing around but Mathis is in the background just on his phone

not trying to read into anything but it’s odd

Based on what I’ve seen here over the past few days? Probably
So you think fans living and dying with their team is liken to a school pulling your scholarship offer after you get hurt? Having a hard time seeing the correlation. Fans abandoning their team wouldn't show up. I bet every single fan here who has tickets would have had their *** in those seats tonight screaming their heads off.

There's been a lot of talk about RHJ's slump but Mathis's has been even worse this year. He started the year looking like the best version of himself we've ever seen, averaging double figures and shooting over 35% from 3. His quality of play has been worse than his freshman year lately.

Something may be up but I'm so glad they regained their focus today.

Mathis was also sitting in the 2nd row not the 1st so it's not like he went out of his way to diss Geo. Based on the fact that he was just sitting down while everyone else was standing at the end of the game, Montez is probably just unhappy with being a starter for nearly 3 years to playing limited minutes. There isn't a team in America in any sport at any level that doesn't have someone who is unhappy about this role and/or playing time.

If you know anything about Myles, he is way more than just a basketball player and will be a huge success in life. Going back to the west coast, going to one of the best engineering grad schools in the country would expand his network and his options to work wherever he wants. He is my favorite Knight, would love to have him back, but no one can seriously think he would chuck his future over a grudge from high school. Luca Garza is the exception (coming back for some unfinished business when he could have gotten paid), JY will be similar to Corey Sanders and have a lot of success overseas, and Geo is a wild-card - he was one of the few players who didnt really improve year over year, so he may have hit his ceiling, would be great to have him back another year !!

I think he values the Stanford degree more than anything else.

If you turn down the opportunity to earn a Stanford degree because you’re holding a grudge then you’re a potato
So if he gets the acceptance to Stanford and decides to go somewhere else I'll hold you to that Myles is a potato. We'll see what happens.

I personally think you're reading into this too much. Who knows what will happen. Let's see how we do in the NCAA's before we confirm that Geo is gone or Young is gone. Where are they going? They're not lottery picks. Europe? Please. They should come back and kick a$$ next year.

I’m sure, but UCLA and Cal aren’t Stanford. This is insane that I even need to explain myself on this one.
Berkeley and Stanford are pretty neck and neck in terms of program rankings. Both elite and will get him a great job in silicon valley.
