Several rumors swirling after their close loss to PSU.

Good thing they didn't get boat-raced by Minny.

Not surprised at all to hear Harbaugh is looking at the NFL. Honestly it makes sense for both him and Michigan, at this point.

As for your comment about Minnesota, I honestly have no idea what you are getting at. Probably some lame dig at our coaching staff and our team.

Just a rouse by his agent to get an extension and larger buyout at Michigan. College coaches need surety to recruit otherwise negative recruiting will kill your recruiting classes and the prophecy of firing the coach will be fulfilled.

I highly doubt that. It's year five of the Harbaugh era. He has done nothing to date and will not be doing anything this year either. More than likely this an attempt by Harbaugh and his agent to get out before he gets fired.

Boy I sure hope Frost can do the kind of "nothing" Harbaugh has done sometime soon. Looks to me like he's gone 10-3 three times and his worst year was 8-5 and they currently have a better record than us.

I'd look elsewhere too if the fans I coached for were that ungrateful.

He's fine. He is switching to the spread, his recruiting has been good to great, he has won a ton of games, and had the bad luck of running into Urban Meyer at OSU. Meyer is gone, he needs a year or two to get the offense rolling, the defense is always good and he's averaging nearly 10 wins a season and is on track for another 10 win season. Michigan fans are as mentally ill as ours but damn. OSU is going to slowly erode because the chances that Day is as competent as Meyer is almost zero. Meyer is the best coach of this generation, completely changed the game when he went to Utah, spanked Alabama, went to Florida, won 2 titles, went to OSU and took a program that people thought couldn't compete with SEC and immediately won the MNC. Harbaugh is a good to great coach, good enough for Michigan.

It would be funny if Harbaugh would return to the NFL only to find Urban beating him in the pros as well.

It would be more than funny it would be improbable because you can not recruit your way to the Super Bowl.

he is being measured against OSU who is top 5-10 every year Michigan has played them

in the Osborne era, when Nebraska was ranked in the top 10 and played a top 10 ranked OU team - TO went 2-12. Harbaugh is closer to being TO early in his career than Pelini. He has finished 11th - 10th and 14th in 3 of his 4 years.

Are we going to hold Frost to the same standards as Harbaugh? Frost took over a program that had won 19 games in the prior 3 years - Harbaugh took over a program than had won 20 games the prior 3 years.

Yes, he is "good enough for Michigan". 43-16 in 4.5 years. Of those 16 losses 15 are to teams that won 10 or more games that year (this assumes Wis and PSU win 10 games or more this year).

I'm thinking most Michigan fans are still happy with the hire and Harbaugh, but for some reason I will never quite understand Harbaugh is just one of those people others fans love to hate. Guy is a class act, has won everywhere he's been, no scandal ever I'm aware of....nonetheless, people tend to want to hate the guy and act like he really hasn't accomplished anything, and that simply isn't true.

He beat the F---- BIG 10 champs PSU in 2016 by 40 points ,beat Wisconsin last year by 30 points and PSU 42-7 and beat Florida twice in the last 4 years but right he only beats bad teams.

Sooner or later you'll stop with the excuses. Maybe not.

I gave him 5 years at Michigan when he was hired. Looks like that might have been spot on.

Really? You can't tell the difference between the situation that Harbaugh is in at Michigan and what Frost is having to deal with at NU? Why even compare Michigan to us at this point. Completely different situations.

Harbaugh is in the top 3 paid coaches in college. Nebraska is battling a complete structural collapse. If Frost ends up doing what Harbaugh has done, he will obviously be lauded. Michigan, on the other hand, is looking to finally unseat OSU and win Big Ten Championships. So, yes, Harbaugh has done NOTHING.

If Nebraska is still getting boat-raced by Minnesota in year 5 of Frost's tenure, he might be wise to test the NFL waters also.

Well...Minnesota is undefeated. 7 year contract. B1G money=Boosters less important=less influence. I guess we'll see what the pissers and moaners can get accomplished.

Let’s Frankie Solich Harbaugh....and then the Wolverines can experience what we have experienced the past 15 to 20 years. Sounds like a solid move to me bro’s and bra’s
