At 3:25, about midstream, he realized the calendar had just turned to August. eyes raced to finish urinating so he could return to bed to fap. A life-sized poster of Kirk chomping bubble gum while hunched over scribbling on an index card was taped to the ceiling above him.

At 3:29, he posted here before drifting back to sleep, with visions of Ed Podolak running the football dancing through his head.

Actually, there are plenty of reasons, all of which have been noted on this board multiple times, but hiring his son as OC and QB coach and refusing to fire him despite having the worst offense in the country is right up there.

He helps young men become men. Makes them better people than they would have been. Most of them become permanent citizens of Iowa. Live their lives bases on many of the principles KF taught them. Have children, and raise them by the same principles. Those children have children, and do the same.

KF helps guide the lives of people who've never met him. They see what his teams stand for. They choose to live their lives with a hard work ethic, determination, teamwork, trust, honesty, etc.....

The consistent success of KF's teams has contributed decades of positive community moral. People feel like a winner. They're proud to be Hawkeyes. They're proud to be themselves. You ever notice the difference between an Iowa fan and an ISU fan? Let alone, the negativity in the community that a bad season would bring. Let alone, multiple bad seasons.

100% KF has been a blessing to this state. You're welcome

This is your problem. The crap you spew gets shut down. You have nothing to respond with, so disappear from the thread. And then end up spewing the same crap in another thread. It's happened between you and I on this subject probably four times now. I'm not going to take the time to correct you again, today.

Not to mention, none of what you say kept BF's years at OC (pre-vacated wins) from being KF's winningest stretch at Iowa. Being that that is his job, it sounds pretty silly to be complaining. Negativity in the community reached an all-time high in '23. That was the last season of what, at the time, was KF's winningest stretch at Iowa. Actually stop and think about that for a second. Absolutely completely unjustifyable behavior from fans

I would b willing to bet you the guy you worship would actually agree with me that a KG teacher is more of a leader and definitely more important than him. I believe he is a good man who has had a successful career. Nothing more-nothing less.

And part of that successful career has been the molding of quality citizens of the state.

But if you want to seperare that from the W column, and call it "more than", then hundreds of families in Iowa would disagree that KF hasn't been "more than"

Does he create or enforce policy? Has he been instrumental in changing how people live. He is no different than anyone else in the entertainment world. Ghandi was a leader. Martin Luther and MLK were leaders. Lincoln, Ike . . .the list goes on. No football coach is the leader of his state.
