* So the Lakers offered their entire roster, salary relief, and 2 1st rounders for Anthony Davis. The Pelicans want all that, PLUS another 2 1st rounders and 4 2nds. 4 1sts, 4 2nds, the whole roster, plus $$$.

:joy::joy:

That deal is getting done, imo. If they get a 3rd 1st rounder, that's a slam dunk.

* I don't understand what happened in last night's SOTU. Half of my friends said it was an amazing performance, and half said it was awful. What's up? I'm sooooo confused.

* While BBdK was getting blasted for CUTE TAKES last night, one thing is becoming clear. PJ Washington has the most upside on this team, and we can't peak unless he's peaking.

As far as Reid Travis is concerned, and the rest of the starting lineup for that matter.....that's called depth. Anyone else can (and has) played like **** at times, even when the team is cruising. It's no coincidence that we've really caught on fire as PJ has.

* The W2 flopout story....

UKFBLOCO some years ago was bemoaning the fact that his girlfriend at the time couldn't find work that paid more than something like ten bucks an hour. I clowned him (and her), considering I made quite a bit more than that in college bussing tables. The argument and verbal jabs escalated, he doubted my ability to actually have gainful employment, so I shot back....

"what's your number? I'll fax you a copy of my W2."

#themoreyouknow

* Dwight Yoakam just kills it, in his own unique Bakersfield sound kinda way.

Turn it on, turn it up, turn me loose = banger.

* Just realized something.....the cost of my Allegiant Flight next week is actually considerably CHEAPER than what I pay every year to ship king cakes home to my buddies. Each one is $25, and my flight was only $75. Marcus welby load that ***** up. Might even buy an extra seat.

* Does rudd shop at a clothier, a haberdashery, or a couturier? Tough to say.

I think Pels hold strong and Ainge swoops in this summer and does his dizzle. Love AD, but The Lakers would be fools to give the Pelicans all that.

Lost in all that was Philly snagging Tobias Harris, another All Star level player. That team is LOADED.

I didn't see the Celts on AD's list of 4 teams he would sign a long term contract with. Obviously, Boston isn't going to trade away much for just 1 year of the Brow.

But, they would be my preferred team for him to land with if they could work out a long term deal.

F the Lakers, man.

So the gov, lt gov and attorney general of VA are all being asked to resign, mostly because of some black face instances. I get the governor, his situation is definitely beyond racist. But the att general dressed up as a rapper when he was 12.
I've never dressed up as a kid as anyone of color, but I feel like when we were kids it wasn't unheard of to see costumes with black face. When did this become such a horrific thing?

We’re gonna see slew of Mr. T get-ups from Halloweens-gone-by take down a generation of politicians. Very soon.

This is exactly what Megyn Kelly asked on air, which was the last straw in her losing her NBC show.

A simple wiki search of blackface clearly defines why that caricature is so incredibly offensive, but any reasonable human being can tell the difference between that and an ordinary costume. This really doesn’t have to be that complicated.

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL TAKE

Trump is exactly right to never apologize about stupid ********. Morgan Freeman (MORGAN EFFING FREEMAN) got accused of sexual harassment for hugging women and/or flirting on a movie set. And he put out some sniveling apology.

Say what you want about The Donald, but if there is a picture of him in blackface out there, there's a 100% chance he's just going to say "It was the 80s and I did cocaine with lots of fine black folks, m'kay. Some very fine black ladies, if I might add. Very fine." And leave it at that.

Just a much better approach than all this ******** apologizing over nonsense.

-Celts are fine but I'm so sick of Boston sports right now. Be weird though after what Rich Paul had big Ant say about them.

-Homey and Kris Kross for halloweens as an awkward preteen. F*ck your apologies. Im digging in.

-Athletes get a pass on PC stuff so we need to get there with other entertainers. The biggest outrage is we're never going to see movies like Blazing Saddles again. Such a shame.

-was really hoping for Devonta Lee but going against LSU in La is a real issue for anyone. Oh well. Stoops Troops all in whos next Im next Get ready air raid!!!

Just because someone else is offended, doesn’t mean you did something wrong. From the Virginia AG...

“deeply, deeply sorry for the pain I caused with this revelation.”

Forty years ago he dressed up as Kurtis Blow for Halloween. If you’re offended by that, then YOU are the problem. Really wish more folks in the public eye had the balls to stick up for themselves. As much as I hate our president, there’s a lot of that quality in him that I do admire.

Dressed up as Gumby one year and walked around saying "I'm Gumby dammit." Good thing Gumby was green and only played by Eddie Murphy.

Agree. The constant apologies empower these idiots.
