Yep. Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson was definitely safe.

JT was chosen to play that halftime show to appease the conservative audience, but the liberal backlash and claims of racism forced the NFL to add in JJ. The liberal outrage provoked the boob incident, which incited the conservative fan base, who blamed the liberals for causing the conservative uproar. Somewhere Ralph Nader and his Green Party ******** was in there too, I’m certain.

Liberals, conservatives, moderates, just totally controlling everything behind the scenes and slowly ruining America.

Rihanna (NFL’s first choice) and Pink (thank God) both turned the NFL down because of political reasons.

And by the way, I truly am sorry that liberals ruined your chance to see Rihanna perform at the Super Bowl. They screw up everything.

Maybe you can catch her if she makes it to the Yum Center?

I mean, If you're bitching about Maroon 5, that's why. It's a fact. The NFL wasn't going to attempt to do anything controversial.

And comparing the political climate from 2002 vs 2019 is pretty dumb as well in regards to U2 being politically charged. We were all on the same team then. Pretty sure GWB's popularity in January 2002 was around 85%

(Actually 84% per Gallup - https://news.gallup.com/poll/116500/presidential-approval-ratings-george-bush.aspx)

So you truly believe the Super Bowl Halftime Show sucks because of.....liberals.

Good god.

No, I'm saying if you're bitching about Maroon 5, it's because the NFL was going with the safest possible option so as to not offend anyone.

Pretty sure that's common sense thinking, If you can't figure it out. That's on you.

They’re marketing to an audience of six billion people. So yes, of course they’re going with a safe option.

But blaming that on conservatives, liberals, or any other political leaning is completely stupid. Halftime shows nearly always suck.

Oh ok... like Travis Scott who sells drugs to kids and Big Boi who chanted ATL HOE.

I think the SB, for various reasons, just couldn’t afford anyone better than Adam Levine....you know, like the stripper Cardi B they couldn’t reach a deal with.

I’m not upset about the halftime at all because I was putting my kids to bed. I’m just saying the NFL didn’t get their top choices because of the Kaep thing. Didn’t bother me in the slightest. Not sure why my old pal PTI is getting so worked up over this.

Frisbee dogs, double Dutch kids, an Asian chick that shoots an arrow with her feet, while a blind girl and a young boy yodel.

That’s a halftime show. Maybe toss in some trampoline dunking mascots.

DC for the week and conference, love this town. Pretty awesome super bowl party at Turnberry Tower with some friends. Hit up Jack Rose, didn’t get to try all 2500 whiskeys, but cool bar.

Used to be meh on Adam Levine, then I saw this. Color me impressed. The lass and her girlfriends would kill each other with box cutters for a shot at him.

Tom Brady has won more super bowls than any other franchise. GOAT

I try to watch this The Good Doctor show, but meh.

The Mongolian dude belting out Amarillo is amazing and perplexing. Also, Mongolian Singer is one of the strangest rabbit holes I've gone down. Their "throat singers" are an odd group.
