Teddy DuPay

What he did to us made me hate Tubby and his ball line defense that left shooters wide the F open!

Who was that queef from unc that accused the Utah player of using racial slurs in the 98 final 4 after they got upset? Can’t remember his name but he was a jerk. He played around the same time Calabria did. What a unc move.

Woke up this morning to a balmy 58 degrees inside. Furnace not getting it done. Quick call to the friendly Penguin at Bryant and they got it fixed. Now the wife is happy she doesn’t have to wear her arctic gear indoors and can be warm and cozy by the fire while I work.

Thanks for your service.

Dwayne Schintzus (sp?) was the first opposing basketball player I truly learned to hate. If he had played at UNC or Duke, he would be in the most hated HOF.

Florida has had a good run of random hateable players throughout the years.

- Had the afternoon/evening off for the first time in a while last night. Watched Marquette dominate Butler. I came away impressed with Marquette. Should I be? They have a couple of guys that can go get a bucket.

- Every year during the bracket challenge, people make fun of me because my bracket always busts early. Dude, you're a coach. How are you so bad at this? Maybe it's because I'm out 4 nights a week during all of these televised games. I have no idea who is supposed to be a good/bad matchup for anyone. I maybe get to watch a few conference tourneys and just go on that and what I read here in this thread. So do better, guys.

- I work in a school district that is notorious for never canceling school. Well, the flu bug has hit here pretty bad. So the kids are out tomorrow, but the teachers still must report - you know, so the kids don't have to make up the day. It's all love.

- Earlier last week, I was reading through the thread when I had some time and saw some terrible takes. So here's one for you all:

Out of all the international cuisines, I think Italian is the most overrated. As a matter of fact, allow me to rank:

1. Mexican
2. Thai
3. Japanese
4. Chinese
5. Cuban

Can't wait to get beat up for this one.

UNC Quiz Question Nos. 43-44:

43. What lucky tradition did then-Kansas coach Roy Williams perpetuate at the Final Four in New Orleans in 1993?

A. He spat into the Mississippi River

44. How did UNC’s Makhtar Ndiaye revive that tradition at the 1998 Final Four in San Antonio?

A. He spat into the face of Utah reserve freshman Britton Johnsen

UNC Quiz Question No. 135:

135. What UNC starter on the 1997-8 team publicly disgraced his school by spitting on a Utah reserve freshman, and later falsely accusing the Utah player of a racial slur?

A. Makhtar Ndiaye

So you like Asians and Latinos.

That’s cool, but you’re missing the boat on the boot.

Just because he's a recent player doesn't mean this conversation can be had without Grayson Allen.
Yeah, really the only player other than Tony Harris that I actually wanted to get injured. He's the most punchable face in my lifetime. Austin Rivers was a short term but he was right there as well.

-I hated hated the Arkansas guys, that was the young infatuated with the Cats Anth era, but secretly loved Scotty Thurman. Nolan can ggp, doh.

-Also, secretly liked Declerq and DaMeatHook.

-So if you're going to blatantly cheat, just let a few Genpop students in on it and deny, deny, deny. Gotcha NCAA. If I was KU, UL, Zona, etc I'd be really nervous. Trial is wrapping up and NCAA seems intent on reestablishing their power rather than what they should be doing.

I'm sure you've enjoyed exquisite Middle Eastern food on base in Iraq and in Detroit. :joy:

Yes, actually both.

I got in on a dinner with the general and some tribal leaders on base in Iraq. Was made by our Iraqi personnel, quite good.

Detroit is one of the largest middle eastern populations in the country, and there are many nice restaurants.

Maybe get out of Beaver Dam more often and try it.

I worship.

From my experience I either really love Middle Eastern food or look at my plate and wonder what the **** I'm eating but at least it feels healthy, very little in between.
