I get why we keep up with and revel in the demise of IU. Do their fans know how over it is for them? I hope some of you hammer their faithful fans online with not only the history of Knight worship, but also with some stats on San Francisco, OK State and any other programs with some level of NCAA history that are not currently relevant at all in college basketball.

First game of season last night. 31 consecutive years of seeing at least one game in person.

Great win! Sat basically right in front of the Kansas family section. They all were actually really nice and respectable folks. Reigned in the cheering a bit, but great environment.

Pretty funny to sit there and listen to each parent cheer on their kid like it’s a middle school or high school game, kind of forget about that aspect of it.

Too much Kentucky Owl?

-IU is a blood rival. Historically probably #2 or 3 depending on your UNC hate and age. Growing up in Louisville exposes you to these losers and their ridiculous superiority BS.

-Can't wait to see how this team responds in Gainesville. Get a dub there and we start really getting wild with expectations. Similar gameplan as we had for Auburn and Kansas. Contain Locke/Allen and bully a much smaller team.

-Tweaked my lower back working out last weekend being an idiot. Feels about 90% but still lingering, massage scheduled for Friday and breaking out the old PT notes. Back pain really is the worst.

-No idea when/how I'd make it work but lately I'm craving a NOLA trip something fierce.

-Edging back toward scotch the last couple weeks after a bourbon run. If you're too proud to get into scotch I really lose respect for your whiskey game. So many damn good scotchs out there. Great change of pace.

2. Ornery in GYERO
3. Nervous pre-big game
4. Hammered free-style rapping
5. Travel BBdK

- Times of the week:

1. Saturday morning

1. Hagans
2. Johnson

4. Boston
5. NYC

* Note: Nashville was not considered but would rank between 2-4.

-Spot-on take by Chad on times of the week. I'm the weirdo who wakes up on Saturday morning always feeling like cleaning, so I turn on GameDay and do dishes, pick up around the house, do laundry, etc. It's the only time of the week I have the urge to do that stuff, but for 2-3 hours each Saturday morning, I'm usually in that zone.

-Add Butler to the list of non-Power Five programs who have taken a recent dive(Wichita State being the other)That's why any of those coaches who want to make the leap have to time it just right. Guessing Eric Musselman is next. UCLA needs to look his way.

Also reaffirms just how amazing of a job Mark Few has done. In terms of success, fit, expectations, etc., is there a guy in college basketball who has a better situation?

-We appreciate your service, Coach Manning, but it's just not working out.

-Always throws me for a loop when a great coach has a year when just nothing goes right. Never thought Huggs would go 1-7 in the Big Twelve, but what a perfect storm of crap that guy's had this year.

-If your team gives up a 22-0 run, you just can't coach offense. It's that simple. How do you not even get to the LINE during a run like that? Even the middle school rec league team I'm coaching knows how to draw contact and get to the stripe.

-Thought Brad Underwood might be on the hot seat at Illinois, but then I remembered that their AD just gave a contract extension to Lovie Freaking Smith, so never mind.

-Warms my heart to see Penny Hardaway lose by 16 to Frank Haith.

-Nails on a chalkboard....when someone says a score in the wrong order. Like, "we lost 56-62". Good grief.

-Now I'm done. Rack me.

-IU gave up that run and couldn't get the stripe with 2 guys that should be able to get there at will.

-:joy: @ Penny. Makes waves by saying everyone is jealous of them and then gets thumped by 3-6(in conf) Frank Haith next game out. Congrats on that UCF win though.

-We're all going to witness Huggs die during a game. He looks awful.

- I’ll rack Llama but only reluctantly.

- 60 degrees here morning, noon and night. Perpetually October. Love it.

- The least Gonzaga could have done was beat Carolina in 2017. Christ.

- Every coach deserves an off year. GreGG will have the Shockers back if he so chooses. Top 10 coach in the game.

- I’d put it at even odds that Penny even makes the tournament next year.

- This goes for Archie and Self too while we’re at it- not everyone can win with young lineups. Cal doesn’t get enough credit.

Loud booms reported in Chicago area could be ‘frost quakes’.

When is M. Night Shamalamadingdong going to direct a Loud Booms movie?

I hated Dyron Nix from UT (RIP). Dude looked like the Soul Glo guy from "Coming to America". Led the SEC in scoring when I was in full "I hate Tennessee" mode.

Side note. There are some guys that never even sniffed professional basketball that if they had only played against Kentucky their entire career and in the NBA they would've been Hall of Famers.
