In ‘09 I worked in a 3-man shop in the Chrysler Building, and my boss was interviewing at K-6 schools weekly, for the privilege of paying $40k a year for kindergarten. (Read it again - Almost ten years ago.)

Acquaintance had 2 daughters attending a private day high school in CT, $42k per kid. Firm he worked for let him go. Out of work a couple of years and was waiting to cash some stock in and asked school for 3 months. School told him pay now or kids must leave. So, they booted kids and had no problem filling their slots.

- Shocked to see Chris Hansen arrested for bad checks. When clicking the link, I bet everyone was waiting for it to be for child porn. Has to be humbling for a guy that made his living (apparently didn't last) busting people.

- Speaking of which, I can't stop watching the "Hall of Shame" Youtubes from Rob Wolchek of Channel 2 in Detroit. Guy has huge balls and doesn't back down from any scammer/fraud he busts. I've seen a couple of guys --><--- close to slugging him. Looks like a fun guy to hang out with.

- Show I'd love Netflix to add: City Confidential. Use to DVR that and American Justice. Paul Winfield is on Mount Rushmore of voiceovers for shows. I couldn't watch the later episodes after he passed. The same with Forensic Files after Peter Thomas died. Just isn't the same.

- Horrible GAMBOL this weekend. I was thinking I might need to check myself when I'm trying to hit a 4-teamer with a Duquesne Sunday afternoon game. Thanks to the NO/LA refs for that losing that parlay.

- Crazy stat:
Super Bowl appearances:
Brady 9
Steelers 8
Cowboys 8
Broncos 8
49ers 6

- Silliest SB bet SO FAR: Will the Chick-Fil-A franchise located in Mercedes-Benz Stadium be open on SB Sunday? Yes +575

"Moves Like Jagger" at 6/1 as first song Maroon 5 sings seems like fair value. And minus whale put $10 on Chris Hogan at 125-1 SB MVP.

- About to pull the trigger on Vegas trip for first weekend of madness. Wynn all day Thursday and Friday at their sports book *drool* Man, what a place.

- Give me the Louisville region as #2 with Virginia and Virginia Tech.

- Ellen Calipari (cal_mrs) is an IG posting machine.

- I've never used Clicklist and I'm sure it's great, but it is a mess in Kroger(s) when snow is in the forecast. Almost impossible to go down any aisle because there seems to be 2-3 Clicklist employees blocking the path.

You can tell Slice is a young pup. If a traditional basketball power has a good white player - he is hated. Been that way for me since Steve Alford and Matt Doherty before that.

The Keith Van Horns and Jimmer Fredettes of the world are cool though.

I am kind of in no-man's land with the public high schools in Louisville. I live near KCD, so I looked at that as an option for my kids once they hit middle school.

7 years @ $24K+ X 3 Kids = no way. It wasn't about the cost personally (and that's not a humblebrag, because that is an insane amount of money for me), but it's just that I firmly believe each kid would be better off if I gave them $168K (each one's share of the tuition) when they turn 23 as opposed to dropping that on KCD.

Anyone, especially in this day and age, who can't take in all of the information before getting "offended/triggered" and posting 45 times to Facebook deserves the backlash. What's funny is that some people insist that it's exclusive to one political orientation. We are all vulnerable to things we dislike, whodathunkit?

Dave and Busters.

Congrats?

I got 3 boys. It was sarcasm, but I will enjoy letting them play all day a few times a year. I suspect it will be better than the other options we spend countless hours letting our kids be kids.

Did you do anything to have fun as a kid? Or has running always been your thing?

This is how I read KK's take on his anniversary.

Yes, 11 years of marriage and my goal is to not rape myself. Good point.

FYI, we had sex at our old house one last time since it’s finally closing. Kind of sentimental I guess.

Didn’t see anything about Cousins return the other night. 15 minutes and 3/4 from three. Nice first game back despite fouling out, but I really hope he is the piece that makes that front office comfortable enough to not bring Durant back as they can only keep 2/3 between Durat, Klamath and Boogie.

Also, the Reds land Sonny Gray who already has an extension! Perfect pitcher for that park! Absolute steal of a deal and his home is in Nashville so this could be that long term centerpiece in the rotation they need.

That front office is doing outstanding work.
