My kids like to talk about UL when I watch Kentucky, and usually about the time I start getting pissed they know I’m losing my bet which means less Xbox or Nintendo Switch games for them.

This year they have added in “I guess daddy has to sell his bourbon now” for extra laughs.

Basically I need Cal to keep things on the up and up for my sanity, anyone else?

Virginia’s issue was if they were down by 10 points with 10 minutes left they were basically screwed because they were incapable of a quick run due to how methodical they were. If that’s still the case they are still screwed in the tournament, but if their offense is more explosive or capable of a quick scoring spurt then they should advance far. I wouldn’t know because I’m not watching a Virginia game voluntarily because they are boring as **** and I hate their style.

I think Anth was referring to the sportswriter dorks getting just a little more enjoyment out of Virginia than the average person and the fact that they happen to play more white dudes (and experienced dudes, because to hell with people who go pro early) than most teams, like they see themselves in Kyle Guy or something. Lots of "play the right way" and stuff, which...can't argue it this year because they've increased the tempo quite a bit. But is it any more right than Tennessee, for example?

Anth should get the original credit for that one, he brought 'I mean' to the masses.

The New England chap ******* who wrote that piece the week leading up to the UK vs Cornell Sweet 16 game was maybe the most racist thing I’ve read related to college ball.

Dan Shaughessy maybe?
The worst in the media during the whole build to that game was Jay Bilas. He got as close to saying "The white guys are going to beat the black guys because of how much smarter they are" as you can without actually saying it.

Probably the first crack in the armor for that guy.

I started using the whole “I mean” bit back as a resident. We used to impersonate/mock one of our professors, and that was his schtick.

All the gurls asking where are all the good guys at....they are in the "friend zone" where you left them, for you could run off to all the bad boys who treat you like garbage....just food for thought....

As a grown *** man, you have to be in a dark place to post **** like this on facebook for the world to see.
Hope Chief's ok!

- Those incels are some haters.

- Hardee's Mexican menu is as solid.as it gets. Perfect for side cars.

- I like Hurts to Oklahoma.

- Shaunessey sums up Northeast douchebag sportswriter better than anyone you'll find. Chap *******, indeed.

- Champs is obsessed with that Fyre Festival story. Tweets about it constantly. Going to check out the doc...but there can't be many twists for a musical festival that was the brain child of JaRule. More shocking would be it turning into Coachella.

I'm torn on the "cry for help" Facebook post. I can't tell what would be better for the one guy on my timeline who posts things like that:

A) Ignore him (which is what I always do)
or
B) Tell the guy that no matter how bad it was before you pressed "submit", it's a lot worse now.

The hulu doc on Fyre was pretty good. I remember it being a disaster but the details are really amazing. And how many people fell for it- even with the evidence right in front of them. The co-founder also committed additional fraud while he was on bail, trying to sell tickets to the Met-Gala, which isnt even a ticketed event.

Basically there were thousands of young, wealthy instagram addicts that fell for the Nigerian Prince email scam.
