"I've been doing this 30 years, We're not gonna shoot 30 threes a game." Dude sounds like friggin' Boeheim or some other old school, walk-it-up bastard. You've got Baker and Herro and Keldon Johnson dude. This team should shoot 25-30 threes a game.
Hell of a recruiting pitch to the shooters out there. Come here and feed the post!
how does he still not understand this
the last 3 national champs have ranked 5th, 56th and 2nd in three point attempts. UK has ranked 167th, 97th, 327th, and the current team -- his "best three point shooting team ever" -- is 341st.
malpractice.

Not that Utah is a good team by any stretch, but that was easily the best this team has looked on both ends of the court tonight.
Sure hope Baker doesn’t lose a guy in practice this week or something. Would sure like to see more of him.
At this point, Calipari is essentially Bobby Knight, circa 1993. He’s been the best coach in America for the past 20 years, but the game is clearly changing
He can either adapt — like K and Roy have done — or he can keep stubbornly and stupidly clinging to his methods of the past — like Knight and Crum did — in the hopes that the game will change back to what it was a few years ago.
Figure it out, John.

Neither of the looks he got were totally clean. The second one was better but he was still off balance after shaking the defender loose with that side step. He came in ice cold after sitting all game. Probably thinking "I've got to press and try and do something on this limited time."
A whole lot of reasons those shots should have clanked off the rim. I expected them both to be misses when he released. Baker seems like one of those guys who if he gets it off, it's in. Could solve a lot of the problems on our offense just having him camp out on the wing.

We have shot 20 or more 3’s in 3 of our last 4 games and averaged 19.25 in those games. That’s an upward trend on the 3 front.
I noticed our “pass it directly into the arms of a much taller defender” and “jack shots at inopportune times” plays were down substantially tonight.
I wonder why.
I wonder why.
Thanks for the 1920 rec, what’s the typical price on it? My local guy I hate buying from had 10 bottles around $60. Very good stuff.
Baker is pure, and it’s clear and easy to see with that stroke. The one in fluid motion was nothing, but the second 3 where he stopped, hesitated and had his defender relaxed and then pulled.......that’s a thing of beauty to quote Donnie Brasco.
As a fan of the NFL, leave Saturday’s TF alone!
Goliath on Amazon Prime is worth a watch, unless you already knew that and I’m just late to the party.

So a lot of you are going to be miserable pussies even when we win, play hard and shoot (and make) a lot of 3s, too?
Got it.
Got it.
Cal said he told the entire team he was going to give Baker some decent minutes, and put him in at the 5 minute mark.
But then he forgot. Oops.
But then he forgot. Oops.
Not being miserable.
Cal ***directly*** called out our fans/critics of his style. One big, unapologetic touch you to our fanbase.

Not going to be popular amongst you simple-minded rubes but I’m with Cal on the Pitino reconciliation. Life’s too short. Be cool to see him happy at Rupp again IMO.
Maybe recognize him at Rupp for what he did at UK and also recognize him for destroying Louisville.
Bingo.
Cal is 100% right about that.
And 100% wrong about his purported offensive philosophy.
If Chad can’t get over it then he’s every bit the simple fan he claims to loathe. TS.
-I don't give a **** if Pitino comes back but IMO it's a bit too soon. I preferred Cal that hated Pitino.
-We just looked as good as we have all year why are you all so salty? Ease up a bit. It's going to be a grind again, if you haven't come to terms with that I don't know what to tell you.
-really need to pull Saturday off.
Camp Cal

The last thing I want if I were an ultra-competitive humiliated 66-year old with no future left in the game would be for my rival that got the better of me for the last 10-years to invite me back to bury the hatchet. That’s salt in the wound for Pitino.
Supposed to head to Amsterdam tomorrow, so sure enough the stomach bug hit my house today. Two of three kids down this AM, and both my wife and I started feeling funny this afternoon.
Not sick yet, so allegedly there's hope. However, I feel like the guy in the old werewolf movies who was bit by the wolf. Although he pretends he still has a chance, deep down he knows he’s turning into a werewolf and it’s just a matter of when. So as the full moon comes out he just keeps checking himself in the mirror, waiting for a sign that the transformation is about to begin. That’s me right now in bed. Just waiting for that fateful moment when I run into the bathroom to start puking.

Hey Ron Mehico,
2 threes in 2 minutes...pretty meaningful, hate to say I told you so but I got a text to prove it.
Cal forgot about him today, didn't you hear?
Likely would need the NCAAs approval when he gets his show-cause penalty as well.
Team looked good today. That is all. I’m drunk.
