B/c he's a guard/wing - always has been, always will be if he's to reach his potential. Killa seems to see Chuck Hayes in him or some weird ****, b/c it's like the 11th time he's mentioned it this year.

Dude is as wing as wing gets for college.

MKG is playing small ball 5 some. That's just where this game is going unless they change the rules. Switching D and teams pick and rolling until they find someone like Nick Richards and drive they hell out of them for a layup or kickout.

Hardly any 4's post up anymore, it's not an efficient play. If you are 6'6" with a hella long wing span and you are willing to fight and do dirty work - KJ is - then you can play and guard the 4 position.

What Keldon is not, is dynamic creator off the bounce. He's basically a catch and shoot guy or attack on a closeout for straightline drive and try to bully his way to the rim. He would be hell for college 4's to try to guard...but he has a hard time sometimes trying to get by guards and wings and get to the rim.

Whatever, if Bbdk was coaching Quade would get 30 minutes a game and Reid Travis would be benched.

^ we'd be 8-1 if I was coach. :100points:

3/4 is the same in Cal's "system" bud. Keldon definitely needs to attack the rim more -- that's on him, not what arbritrary position number is beside his name.

Besides, I'm pretty sure we're set on post touches at this point w/ your savior black hole Reid Travis down there, and PJ every 3rd game.

Cal's Positionless Basketball - 6'10 guy who can't shoot plays SF and switches onto PG's on defense

K's Positionless Basketball - Get the 3 best wings and rotate them through the 2-4 positions.

3/4 are not the same in Cal's system because he running that double high post (horns) set and curling cutters and shooters off of that.

I'm not suggesting KJ should be posting as a 4, I'm suggesting in a more modern "4 out" set he could do a lot of damage at that position, but point taken, I guess if you are playing "4 out" there is not difference in the two spots. Overall impact being that if you had another winglike player alongside KJ to spread the floor it would benefit him greatly (and Hagans). Our two post system has the lane clogged and he's not getting easy buckets off of it. It would be fun to watch Hagans, Quickley, Herro, KJ, and PJ/Travis go 4 out with one post for a while.

Anyway, that's not happening so I don't know why I'm wasting keystrokes on it.

So 40% of the upper arena is still available for the UK/UofL game at Yum? Maybe $110/ticket for uppers is a little ridiculous?

You are arguing in favor of Dane ******* Bradshaw as a legitimate college basketball threat.

Sure, he hit some threes and out-quicked some big uglies but good God, man, think about what you are saying.

Oh I'll remember his crappy three and turn over on consecutive possessions that opened the flood gates against The Zions.

So... we are losing our best 3pt shooter and our next best shooter(supposedly) is in the process of tweaking his shot in mid Dec.

Good grief. We’re f’d
