Nothing pisses me off more than when a place's outlet game is shaky. I'd have moved the moment I saw that, deposit be damned.

For the record, Tony is backtracking BIG TIME on his actual thoughts on this -- I have proof.
Yup, wasn't happy at first but when they didn't respond for 12 hours to my report of natural gas filling the entire place along with ****** electric and space heaters as primary heat for G's room -> I've been all in on them. We discussed this at dinner Friday night, drunkass.

-Have we seen actual quotes about someone f*cking with Herro's shot or is that another urban legend?

Tom Leach and Pratt talked about this for like 10 minutes this morning...and it was stupid as hell. The entire conversation was mind bottling, but it's a fact - UK is trying to get Hero to quicken his release. "It's not major surgery, or nothing, just a little tweak, just to get him sped up".

I've heard it talked about several times -- he wanted him starting it from his chest and not the big 'wind up' motion from down low. Same thing he worked with PJ on.

Herro was short on everything vs Seton Hall, and that's probably why. Only shots he makes are in transition when he's got the mo' behind him.

oh ffs, his stroke is *nice* as hell, but after 5 min of this crap I'm pissed we even had to recruit this honky from wisconsin who gets blocked by the rim on a runaway dunk...

....the sweet lil lady at the scorers table laughs at him.

Gonna spend my winter following KyKy and Dontaie around watching real eaters.

I also recall Sloot complaining about a lack of full length mirrors. :scream: Can't make this stuff up, folks.

She did once accompany Greg Louganis to the White House to discuss the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott. Not sure what the problem is.

Regardless of whether you like her politics(TM), that is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen.
Used to I thought it was silly for people to believe we were living a simulation. After seeing things like this I’m starting to believe it’s silly to think otherwise

- Many shot doctors teach players to 'dip" to generate a smoother motion. Just let the kid play, man. This over-emphasizing certain talking points is getting unnatural. I swear it seems like a defense mechanism or some weird misplaced insecurity. I think the critics and "Bennies" are getting to Cal.

- I saw a "Champion" hoodie the other day at a local sports equipment store that had a $55 sales tag. Just a plain ol' blue "Champion" hoodie like the ones from the early 90s. Well some of my teen friends let me know that the "Champion" brand is back in a big way. Some of their stuff is retailing for like 200-500 bucks. WHAT?!?! Apex next?

- My wife's school begins their Christmas Break tomorrow. I have to return back to work/school next week until Wednesday. Somehow, she'll be the victim while I work my *** off grading essays, finals, practicing late after school, managing program operations while school is out, and coaching Holiday classic games. But she has to be home with the kids . . . ALL DAY. It's tough! Waking up at 9 a.m. and having to pop some instant oatmeal into the microwave is exhausting. Sending the kids to their rooms to play Xbox or whatever. Tough gig. When I get home she'll need to "get away" for some time to herself. Already looking forward to it.

Exactly. I'm becoming convinced that we're being trolled, 100% of the time, and someone somewhere is laughing that we haven't figured it out yet. So they just keep upping the ante to see how just ridiculously far they can push things.

-Herro was shooting poorly before they changed his mechanics.

That's why they changed it. Cal mentioned several times that he was winding up instead of just shooting it, although he didn't mention anyone by name. He wasn't getting it off clean against real competition.

-Bought a Todd Snyder Champion sweatshirt in October, and I think the Champion part might have boosted the price more than the Todd Snyder part. Great sweatshirt though.

-The old crooners like Sinatra are made for Christmas music. Just about all of the other stuff that's played during the holidays wears out quickly, but that subgenre is timeless.

-First AirBnB experience coming up at the end of the month.

I like the idea of learning how to play an instrument as well, and I dont want to be the bearer of bad news here, but we're all too damn old to learn anything new, cool, or fun.

Davis Goggins disagrees.

Now whether you’ll actually achieve a quality level of performance is debatable, but it is fun.

Not in the classic genre, but Feliz Navidad is criminally underrated -- not sure there's a more fun Christmas song to actually sing along with. :fire:
The mariachi guys at El Rincon (RIP) used to always bust that out a few times during BOGO margarita night. Time of the year wasnt important to them. That and the spanish rendition of Hotel California.

Springsteen's "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" is an underrated classic.

I've had 3 great experiences with AirBNB prior to this but in NYC they're a little shady b/c it's not actually allowed. You don't get a confirmed address until 2 days prior.

The listing was kind of new and hadn't been through a winter yet so from the time I booked it until we left 3 similar incidents w/reviews happened and I really didn't notice the complaints until the day before we left. Sent her a text and she assured me the space heaters were gone and all was fine. Regardless, the place being overwhelmed with natural gas the first morning we woke up and exposed wires, missing smoke detectors, and space heaters. Wasn't sticking around another night to trust this hussy.
