-i have a friend that is always worried about body style/"generation changes"...i never got it. Of course hes a lease guy. Cars(unless they're something *really* cool) are a utilitarian item/depreciating asset. Also im genetically incapable of experiencing fomo.

^Actually the opposite. I don't get your first statement but I didn't say, "lets go get whatever you want." Just said, "we don't like Cardinals in our house." Followed by a bit of an awkward silence where I think she was expecting me to tell him not to say that. Sorry toots.

Last weekend Poppop had been teaching him, "Cardinals eat their own poop and drink toilet water."
Better than me telling fans they piss on their own balls.

What was the Wiltjer story? (short version) Do us a favor so that we don't have to listen to a Jeff Goodman podcast - it's the right thing to do.

Apparently he was giving an interview when he was at Gonzaga, and he said something about Morrison having a bunker where he stored guns, water, food, etc. (In reality, it was just a hunting cabin.) Basically made him out to be some sort of survivalist or something, but he was clearly joking. I think Morrison was even on the staff at that point.

Morrison got offended, and -- long story short -- threatened to sue Wiljter, along with Barstool and some others. Had no sense of humor about it at all. In fact, he's still pissed off at Wiltjer about it. Weird dude. Can't recall many instances where a school's former player threatened to sue another one over a joke.

And I'd forgotten how badly they blew that UCLA Sweet 16 game where he broke down crying. Up 16 with 6 minutes left, and if they'd won, would've played Cal/Memphis in the Elite 8.

The outcome of that final 4 game hurt but I don't think I've ever been more furious then the 95 Elite 8.

This was my first The Faithful take over post season experience. Sophomore year in high school on the way down to spring break in Destin.

There was a hotel complex attached to the arena in Birmingham. A total sea of blue everywhere with sprinkles of Carolina fans. Place was rockin’.

Then the Riddick and Wallace scuffle happened and UK played so tight afterwards. Pitino lost his mind. When Pitino was tight so were his teams.

That was and remains the absolute best pre-game atmosphere I've ever experienced. Inside the arena, UNC had ONE section of fans (out of about 18), and that ratio was reflected in the pregame as well.

That Sheraton was nuts with Cats fans. Just rocking. Recently restored to our rightful place, fans hungry for a title, nearing the peak of the Pitino Era. Naturally the few UNC fans I ran across (somewhere else, not the Sheraton, they knew better to even come in there) tried to start up the talking even before the game.

At the time, that was the worst L of my life. Thankfully it gave the Cats the spark to win it the following year, just like 1977 (loss to UNC basically ruined my childhood) turned into 1978.

Hate to be “that guy,” but television is killing college basketball. Why would anyone press when there’s a 5-minute tv timeout right around the corner? The same timeoiyt that completely kills momentum and crowd participation. And to fill the down time, let’s get everyone spiced up with the Kiss Cam. Ugh.

Jeff Goodman. Brian Windhorst. I mean, these people are reasonably rich and famous. Amazing.

There’s not a car in the world I’d trade for a monthly payment. No thanks.

Mash >>>>>> Davis. 3 years versus 1. Not even close, imo.

I've never seen UK basketball as consistently good/entertaining as it was from '93 to '97. Not to mention the fact that college basketball as a whole was a significantly better product back then. I still love the sport, but it's a shadow of what it was.

The Arkansas-UK regular season game each year during that time period felt like an NCAA tournament game. I recall being devastated when Arkansas beat us in the 94-95 season.

^Yeah... was like 25 years ago but he was broadcasting from it live when it happened iirc.

Regards to this bowl game, they should take Allen's helmet and pads away from him. Snell can still potentially turn some heads and add a little value to his status, so I could understand him suiting up. But for anyone projected early in the 1st round, unless youre still in the title hunt-- turn in your finals and split.

Ulis, Davis, Mash, Delk.

Ulis' was just so cool, such a baller, such a badass. His career achievements weren't on an elite level, but he should have a ring and would've made another deep run if Skal wasn't a *****.

Andrew Wiggins is certainly ****** fwiw. Jimmy Butler is a fake-*** tough guy competitor a la Kobe, but he was right about Wiggins. Complete gash with no shot, defense, or toughness

This JJ Weaver announcement is exactly what I imagine when I think of a Moore (or Atherton, Doss, Waggner) High School assembly.

It's just not meant for me to have a great Fantasy Football season. I swear. (Tongue in cheek)

Some of these guys are wired like pitbulls. It's insane.
