Agree with the exception of floors. If those are done correctly they look great.

Barnwood sucks! We get ours from Idaho, which is the same place that supplies most of the country.

I ordered 40K worth of it 2 years ago and let the customer speak to my vendors directly to avoid errors, and we spent 15K fixing the preferences to a mostly lighter shade.

Happens all the time around here.
Live edge, rustic, whatever. Anth uses that term and he fancies himself a master woodsmen these days...I'm just referring to some dark/wooden shelves to place bottles of bourbon on in my basement. Would look nice w/ my current setup.

I text you a picture, I can easily get what I sent you(which has some U.K. blue epoxy marbled into it) in most any length.

Really looking forward to this Monmouth game. It's not often a 0-7 team gets to play in the Super Bowl.
We will once again struggle to stop straight line drives and covering the 3 point line as we maintain a 13 point cushion the entire second half against the worst team on our schedule.

Live edge shelves are an indicator of wealth and status like anything else. They prove that you have the resources and trend knowledge to purchase the Uber “honest material.” The “live edge” itself is the proof of authenticity, front and center.
They are far more expensive than the shelves made from artificial material assemblies that the majority of people use without second thought (plastic laminate w/printed wood pattern on pressboard). To take it one step further, they are even “more honest” than actual dimensional lumber that is produced in mill with no regard for maintaining a “live edge” (and is produced more cheaply).
They are a futile effort to set apart one’s personal domicile as unique, authentic, and with-it. They are phrase of truth buried in an encyclopedia of ********. They are only fit for hobbits.
