Really hope he stays. Don't think he will (and I also don't think he's the home run they think he is), but it'd be nice to see them scrambling for their 2nd/3rd/4th options with signing day a couple of weeks away.

Their second or third choice could very well end up being a better coach in the long run but it would still be funny to see their hometown hero turn them down.

After visiting that desolate wasteland and being harassed for 2 quarters by their grimy fans, while stomping them, I have no problem wanting to smack a HC CARD fanboy each year.

Bring him on.

Dan Carlin is my hero. Amazing storyteller. I'm on my third trip through Blueprint For Armageddon. Also highly recommend Ghosts of the Ostfront and Logical Insanity (Blitz). Painfotainment is fascinating, but very graphic. Really there aren't any I don't recommend, but those stand out. A good follow-up to Blueprint is Scars of the Great War, one of his first episodes. Also Imperial Germany vs Nazi Germany from his Addendum series.

If anything I'm hoping that if he stays in West Lafayette then it lets their fans, especially the Apartment Renter, know their place.

Brohm may not be the homerun people will expect, but you can bet your sweet butthole that Forde and his minions will spin the hell out of that story. If they land him, it will be the conjuring of every HoF Coach’s (alive or dead) greatest quality all spun into the singular embodiment of that jug-headed Louisville Man.

- Is there a bigger change in quality in food than hot McDonald's fries and cold McDonald's fries?

- If Brohm does come here it will be a guaranteed long-term deal (7-8 years) and at close to $5m per year all in. $40-50m total range. 2 brothers in tow with high compensation. But it would be difficult to leave Purdue which has committed over $100m to Football since he arrived.

- 08 is on a big shark kick right now. Jaws, The Meg, The Shallows, Deep Blue Sea. 47 Meters Down is on tap. Kid cracks me up.

- About to get rid of Facebook. As my kids say...only old people use Facebook. And I refuse to think of myself as old.

- I ran wind sprints with our basketball team last night. Ouch. Struggling today.

-Richie, I am sick this week but I would like to play next week or whenever in the future. I'm fairly terrible but I need to exercise.

-My wife decided to work a second job (a fun one!) at a paint a piece of wood place. She was amazed when a guy gave their team a $100 tip last night (work outing). She was pumped to get $34. She likes this job better than her teaching job at the moment.

-Totaled car came out to 14K. KFB was great to deal with for my first claim. It was kind of weird to get a hand written check. I thought they would just mail me a check when I dropped off the title.

McDonalds fries are the obvious GOAT when they’re proper. But even when they’re hot, they tend to be soggy from being undercooked. They get in a rush or something and take them out too soon.

-"Retiring" from pick-up basketball is one of the better health moves I've made in the last few years. Blowing out a knee or Achilles seems like a giant pain in the *** at 36, plus I was really starting to suck and want to only remember the good times.

-I absolutely can't wait for my retirement gig at the local hardware store someday. Turbo jelly whenever I see a giddy old bastard, not stressed or angry, just roaming the aisles. Short of the sweet release of death, this is why we do this IMO.

at a paint a piece of wood place.

:joy:

No business is booming like the "paint a piece of old ****/barnwood creations" business. Richmond just got a new one downtown, Barnwood. It went in the previous space occupied by the "paint old junk tiffany blue and sell it back to you for $$$$" place.

dang, check out these custom barnwood doggy crates...https://www.kentuckybarnwoodkennels.com/online-store/Extra-Large-Single-Design-Your-Own-p106429560

$1550 for a cheaper one. Absolutely adorbs.

They should build the new Rupp out of barnwood. Can you imagine? Put 100k seats in that reclaimed POS and it would be sold out till 3026 with people dying to watch ball in a barn.
