Bring Richards off the bench. He can’t play in games like this.

Hosted a thanksgiving dinner for my folks tonight, as we’ll be away over the holiday. Worked on a fifth of Wild Turkey Rare Breed with my old man, which is a tradition of ours. It’s a weird feeling doing something like that and realizeing that your father is getting old. Guess we just gotta enjoy all the moments we can while we have them.

VMI is a super weird school, by the way. The college I went to is directly adjacent to it. It’s regarded as a good school and has a very influential alumni base in Virginia/DC, but there was something off with every Keydet I ever met. Lots of kids with behavioral/emotional/drug issues there.

*Started out moving the ball well and passing for once. So that's a positive. Also hit a ton of FTs.
*Our D is really poor. None of our bigs are good defenders, if he's not camped out down low Richards is a complete liability. They were switching to get him vs a guard every time.
-Hagans played better as a disrupter on D but he's still a big disrupter on offense as well with his annoying ball stopping. Maybe that drive and finish late in the game sparked something.
*Herro needs to settle down. Start with just shooting then let the rest come. Even in a crap game Johnson put up decent enough numbers.
*I still can't get over what we were sold vs what this team is. Has me salty against what seems to be a really good group.
*How do you hate Travis' game? I freaking love it. He's going to win us games in the doldrums of mid SEC season. Not a great defender but he's a load on the inside.
*PJ coming around big time. Last 2 games are the Peej we need to see.

FBall
*Finally get to moving the ball and trying a few of those plays (Bowden Wildcat, Rose a few drives, solid RPO by Wilson for a big gain, targeting the TE) and we go back to boring *** run Benny into the teeth of the D.
*D got lazy AF after the quick lead. Thankfully picked it up enough at the end to close it out.
*Heck of a year at Commonwealth, about all you could ask for.
*Dude catches a ton of heat, still, but what Stoops has done the last few seasons is pretty incredible. I mean, UK football has been ranked basically the entire season. I've never seen that.

-LOOOONG day Saturday. Tailgate, game, after tailgate, went out with the guys to celebrate Bob's impending marriage, had way to much to drink, remembered I hate bars after dark, uber home, girls still up drinking wine, 1a bed time.

-Tony's cooked 2 steaks in a row perfect. Eek.

-Bordeaux for Purdue is no less than 50 and I saw him drinking Ensure on the sidelines. Was sporting the old dude white Nike's and everything. Had the old man game down perfect.

-Bungles lost again. Meanwhile my Saints are f*cking ROLLING. Who Dat!!

Said that the wrong way Anth...I think Travis is a very good college player. I just don't like that overly physical slow style of play. Not with my Kentucky basketball. We'd be garbage without him, but man...it's just painful to watch in the age of Golden State spread the floor basketball.

Our team will never win a championship wearing purple shoes. Everybody knows that.

2012 seems like 50 years ago. We're recruiting lil shrimp *** losers and wearing purple and green shoes. Just out there trying to live our best life instead of fn murdering fools on the hardwood. It's embarrassing.

Yeah, it probably shouldn't matter to me ----> but seeing MR DAWG himself out there in ridiculous purple, lime, whatever teletubby looking shoes definitely isn't my favorite thing. AYEE

^ So Killa here is saying we shouldn't be asking our lumbering, traditional bigs to guard smaller and quicker players out on the perimeter?

Eff you. It's 2006 all/air around here, hoss.
Works when you have WCS... that's about it. As soon as Richards came in they went right at him.

Good God I hate this basketball team.

Next time we're 4th-and-short and Snell isn't on the field, Gran should be given the Pear of Anguish at mid-field.

He's the worst #1 I can recall, yes (much prefer Carey) -- but, I'd still like to have the best players.

No worries, just makes us 0 for our last 17 on Top 5 guys we've targeted hard.

Yup,finally get a #1 player that is all about Cal/UK and his HS/AAU coach gets the local revitalization job. IMO, Carey - Duke, Stewart - MSU. So leaves us hopefully landing McDaniels then Dante moving up a class(but he's not a top 5 big).Swing and missing on all 3 would be brutal.

That’s ok. Joel really built a nice relationship with Momma that yielded zero dividends.

Touching fool is way in over his head. Again, I’ll remind everyone that Joel Justus’ coaching background includes being the head coach at Woodberry Forest Prep School which is the equivalent of coaching Sayre, KCD or Collegiate. Oh, I forgot, he’s an analytics and cyber metrics guy.

Get lost and take Barbee with you.
