Got a school cell phone today, school pays for the phone and service. Turns out Verizon service is beyond useless at home unless I'm standing outside, and really the only reason I even got it was because of the unlimited data to use it at home. So taking it back to IT on Monday and telling them to return it. No sense in the school paying for the monthly service if the phone is just going to sit around collecting dust. Going to be interesting to see how they react lol.

It's plenty acceptable. Several others here with school phones use the hotspot function and then use their phone as their home internet.
