No buffering and close to every sports channel in the default package (no splitting between Blue package for ESPN/CBS and Orange Package for FS/NBC - or whatever, like Sling).
AppleTV is nice for sports because it displays the icon of the games and includes a score bug - and if you follow certain sports, it will give you popover messages for close games while you’re watching Netflix or whatever - for close game or upset alerts - and one click takes you to the game.
Also, if you are an iPhone user, AppleTV is a no brainer. It’s the best iPhone accessory out there.
