Vanderbilt mentioned in FBI case. Does not surprise me. He seemed shady anyway.

Hagens mentioned but really no proof. But this November keeps getting better and better.

Welp, by god. The NCAA investigation just reeved up 400%.

If we get hit for JV, that will go down as the worst money ever spent.

The cake has been fallen a little flat recently, somebody may need to check the GD oven, make sure it's working properly.

Cal seemed to really like Vanderbilt’s “people”, they worked together in lockstep with the staff in his rehabilitation...so I wouldn’t worry about that group doing anything rogue or without Cal’s knowledge.

we don't know but probably related to the disappearance of WWW and the basketball scandal

Wes was sitting on the floor Tuesday night, cheering for the Cats, ripping the officials when they made calls against us, reacting when Duke would make plays.

He's still Team Cal, but apparently needs to do a better job of steering talent to us.

-Until both "factions" realize it's not only the media's glorification of these people, or lax gun laws, but it's the combination we'll have disturbed dudes shooting places up. The cycle is moving way quicker these days. We go from grief to outrage to #[insert city]-Strong in less than 24.

-Current read is Icefall, not too bad. The guy dives in to climate change and is really in to mountaineering. Spent a few years at WKU as a professor along the way.

-Eh, unless a staff member is named I don't really care.

-On my boring *** close nights I've been chipping away at Zelda. Holds up pretty well.

Me too, Anth. My son loves watching me play the old games. I offer for him to play but he says they are too hard. Dude just watches me collect triforces and likes it better than any TV show.

...watching others play video games is apparently the new playing video games for this generation. Go figure.

What games of old lacked in graphics and complexity, they made up for in straight kicking your ***. My kids like watching me play Mega Man 2, which is brutal, for some reason.

As far as watching people play games goes, I used to think that this was a "new" thing, too. But it isn't. I'm old enough to remember when arcades were huge, and when someone in there was good at a game, people would line up two or three deep to watch them play. Frankly, I'm just pissed off and jealous that someone figured out how to monetize it.

* Been really disappointed in that insufferable asshat attention ***** Drake lately. We've pretty much lost him to Duke at this point, as the world's biggest #fanboy has gone all in on Zion.

* Let's just get this out in the open --> EVERYONE cheats, including Kentucky. Shady *** handlers, under the table payments, shoe reps, WWW, the works. We'll get named, or busted, or investigated, or called out at some point, too. Just a matter of time, and my opinion will be the same for the Cats as it's been for every other school --> IDGAF. I may enjoy a little short term revelry in our opponent's demise, but it's the real reason I can't root for the NCAA. We're all in this together, whether we like it or not.

* My breakfast = 3 cupcakes. Ugh.

* Cheat harder, imo.

* Next book in the rotation --> Killers of the Flower Moon, then Dopesick.

* My brother has a 5 and 11 year-old, and Fortnite is their whole world. It's what they get grounded from when they misbehave, and they swear their children turn into little demon, satan worshipping monsters when they aren't allowed to play. They've also permabanned them from watching Fortnite videos on YouTube, which is just as big of a fiasco. Leave them unattended in a room with a television, and there's a 100% chance they're disobeying and doing just that.

Kids, man. At least scrambled Spice porn was wodie AF.

I let my 8 year old daughter play Read Dead Redemption 2 for about 30 minutes the other night while I was helping her. About 10 minutes in she rolls up on a guy and it pops up "you've found a secret meeting" and she immediately, and on accident because she can't use the controller correctly, fires one off right into his gut. He screams "YOU SON OF A *****" at her and the entire town tries to chase her while she runs away on her horse. She then proceeds to run the horse off a cliff and kill both herself and the horse.

I am a good parent.

Between ‘15, the Luke Maye shot, Kansas St, and now this sodomizing by Duke surely the basketball gods are done with us for a little bit

Edit: I think Indiana May have eliminated us from a tourney in there somewhere too

-Loaded up on Syracuse -21 for tomorrow night. Will be a lot more than that IMO.

-Daddy date at El Tarasco last night. Like her ignorant mother, the little one just isn't much on cheap mexican food. Disappointing.

-Chicken fajitas and a tall draft Miller Lite for you-know-who though. :)

-Say it again, UK Basketball needs a guy that would murder for his first title. The program isn't built for the elderly CBB statesman type which Cal has naturally grown into. 3-4 more years of Cal and we'll get a young gun/competing for titles again. JMO and it's whatever.

-Desperately need a W this weekend in Knoxville. More than anything this team deserves/needs the validation of an ***-kicking and a clear path to 10-2. The UGA loss, while telling, somehow gave the critics ammunition to purport the year has been flukish. "Great year but not a great team" BS is how Lach puts it. F that. Let's whip those rocky top ******** Saturday.

-Been some really nice fires at home so far. Need a decent rick before the holidays, though. ANYONE HAVE A FIREWOOD GUY.

-Yosemite next weekend for a wedding. Never been to California. Not really that interested tbh.

Everyone see the girl sending bomb threats at UK to get out of a test? Turns out The Kernel interviewed her yesterday afternoon about it before she got arrested [laughing].

Duvall said she doesn't have class Thursday, but does have to possibly come to campus for a makeup test and she said she "understands why students wouldn't want to be on campus tomorrow." She said that cancelling classes on the day would be a preventative measure that "would ease a lot of panic and would comfort a lot of students."

Editor's note: The Kernel interviewed Haily Duvall for this story late on the night of Nov. 7 because editors had been led to believe she had received threats and had been one of the first to report them to police. Early on Nov. 8, Duvall was arrested for terroristic threatening 2nd degree and filing a false police report in connection with the threats to White Hall.

Read that earlier - she had a very strange and telling need to be the supposed spokesperson for all students. Evident that she was seeking attention all along.

It's where I learned of the Sacred Rac.
I hold my rac scared because it allows me to live in spacious environs, unlike that dipshit Chandra Thapar who most likely escaped their ******** country to live in a place that is only possible because of the advent of the sacred rac.

*As depressing as Whitehall was, Chem/Phys for the loss... woof.

*Knoxville tomorrow to try and shake off last week and then the Tuesday night debacle. Not really sure what to expect from this group coming off a set back... Will be one of the more hostile environments they play in this year.

*My guess is B-rad doesnt play for UK again. This is based on no actual evidence other than an outlandish guess. And an assumption that this season may not be the best, and the whispers of "Cal to ______" will become even more pronounced.

*Football weather

*Biggest regret on my current home is that the fireplace is gas. Wood-burning should be the only way to go.
