The only difference between old UK and new UK is the stakes got a little higher before the letdown. We’ll get boat raced again next week, beat Middle, maybe beat Louisville, and get crushed in a bowl for a cute 9-4.
For us. The cute is a reference to how the rest of college football will view it. “Awww, look at Kentucky! So excited for 9-4, and we’d fire our coach!”

This is the downside of being in the SEC. We would've been 2nd place in the ACC this year, 2nd in the Big 12, in contention to win the Big 10... All of which would've resulted in New Year's Day bowls. There's a ceiling in this conference that's really GD hard to break through.
It isn't great and our guys did some dumb stuff while getting beaten by a better team... but they didn't hang 77 on us.
