Hill was dealing. 91 pitches. Shutout. 1 hitter. No reason whatsoever to pull him.

2 pitchers and 2 batters later its 4-3.

Some of these managers/coaches just make changes for the hell of it.

I'm pretty sure that some analytics nerd called in from the front office and made the call for him to take Hill out.

Great win, horrible game. Words we never get to say from our point of view so I’ll take it. Spent most of the last 4 hours searching for explanations like a man questioning his own faith. There are no answers, go to church.

Matt House is getting a lot of praise and while he’s done a solid job you’re fooling yourself if you don’t believe Stoops is behind the D improvement.

A season, nay a lifetime for most of us, of what if’s now have a definitive clock on them. For my entire life for UK football to have a chance at the SEC East title came down to a convoluted game of “if this, then that...” where the odds were akin to hitting the powerball jackpot. Now, it’s simple, just win baby. I think the sheer simplicity of it makes it hard for a UK fan to comprehend.

It’s like the 4th down stop against LSU in 07. For those that were there when LSU lined up we all knew to win the game we had to just get one stop. But we never get that stop, ever. Even on Leach’s call when the tackle was made there was hesitation because we never make that play. We are never in that situation.

Well, you’re in it now. Attack that sumbitch like you got nothing to lose. Who knows, you just might not.

I was at that game. I swear to God that there was a pause after the RB went down and clearly didn't make it before the euphoria started. Like we were all looking around to make sure it was real.

Assuming I'm reading the numbers correctly:

Kentucky and Clemson are tied for #1 in total points allowed by any team so far this season.

I don’t need numbers. Kentucky has a top 5 D. We have shot. Well probably lose but ******* I love this team. Wow! How did we win? Love it.

House has done a fine job and all but doesn’t Stoops pretty much run the defense? It’s his baby. Sorta like with Saban at Bama.

Can’t help but think if we had Paschal on the other side opposite Allen coming off the edge. Shew

Meanwhile the Cards are staring down a very likely 2-10 season. Their last 4

Hoak will now transfer...
If he does he does. He wanted a shot and he got one. He got a couple of shots. If he'd have moved the football, he'd have taken the job from Wilson last night.

If he transfers because we don't give him the starting job when he didn't earn it then here's your big fat meme of Curly Bill saying "Well, bye."

I’m sure Stoops is the head man in charge of the defense, but it’s undeniable how much better we have been since House has been the defensive coordinator. It wasn’t so long ago that we were all wondering what piglet was good for if he couldn’t stop WKU from scoring a thousand points on us.

So whatever House is doing, whether it is following orders or giving them, he’s doing it right, and I don’t want someone coming in here and stealing him.

-Not being negative but a former 2* turning into an All-American cheat code really makes a coordinator look pretty good. Counterpoint the rest of the D is really stingy.

-Allen is a top 3 player of my life, depending on how the season ends he has a chance to be #1. Best player on the best team.

-Lock really wanted that deep sideline ball, eh? How many did he throw?

-BooooVeeer.

-What's up with big George? Fortner played a lot.

-Those paws on Wagner:eyes:

-Goalline TE target:pimp:

-My God, Saturday is going to be [banana]s. I'd suggest doing whatever it takes to make it.

I don’t know how UL is this bad. I know they have lost all of Cholly’s recruits but it’s not like their recruiting has been awful. Maybe no assistant coach wants to coach their and they are taking Bobby’s kids and in laws. I don’t know what it is but it’s glorious.

I'm still surprised at what Mizzou was running on that last play. Cover 0, so one on one with every receiver with no safety help. We could have gone to Bowden just as easily. Glad to see Gran had them right where we wanted them by running on the same look on 4th down 3 other times. Ha!

Unpopular take on here I'm sure, but I love this guy:
