Anyway, the UGA game is NOLA themed. 80 making Jamb and I believe I'm making grits and grillades. I think someone should test their hand at maque choux.

@PTI (pti) send us a couple of those Randazzo king cakes next Thursday. Please and thanks.

Any of you great gents know anything about outdoor patio heaters. I screened in one of my patios, only about 200' ft so trying to figure out a way to heat during the winter for my stogie habit. One side is the house exterior, other 3 are screened. A Frame roof but the rafters start at about 8'. My first thought are the 46-48K propane heaters but may be too tall for the rafters. The table top ones don't look like they will put off enough heat. The infrared ones I've seen haven't impressed me.

Anyone have any of these out heaters they would care to share their thoughts. I'm itching to buy but can't figure out what to buy.

Gotcha covered bro. You'll be wearing shorts and flip flops out there all winter long (Master Space Heater).

“White chili” is delightful, but belongs in a separate category than traditional chili. You got to keep them separated.

Have defeated Anth at a chili cook off before, be happy to do it again. Excited about this Nola theme party.

I'm not a big chili cooker guy. I kind of like previously refrigerated left over chili stuffed full of cheese and crackers.

Big fan of the Texas style I made last year.

-Whatever the reason (and I had plenty), nothing wrong with a little break every now and again.

-We're a really good football team. Our defense, run game, and special teams (save for place kicking) are elite-elite and will have you in the top 15 in any year of college football. We're flawed like everyone not named Alabama, however, with passing and FGs the difference between 11-1 and 10-2/9-3.

-Was nice to watch Vandy fold due to a lack of depth like we've done for years and years. They were done halfway through the 3rd quarter. Our depth is very real.

-Terry is a big part of the problem, but our receivers just aren't very good. They struggle with timing and spacing. They could also use a refresher on stalk blocking IMO. We could/should have broken at least two more runs Saturday night if they sustained some blocks. Christ.

-Isbell's Live at the Ryman is out and :fire:.

-Saw REK and Lyle Lovett last week. Got to meet both afterwards at The Brown Hotel bar. Very nice people.

-Sometimes it's more interesting to read randoms from bottom to top.

-Don't think I've played golf since July. Pretty much all housework for the last 3 months with any spare time. Rushing in a deck staining this week before the weather turns, then I'll get busy on the young man's nursery. Lass has some great decor ideas with things he'll never be interested in but will aesthetically be pleasing for her and the hens. Elephants, planes, the circus, giraffes... whatever.

-I stick with our family chili recipe which is basically Kern's or Checks. Simpleton but classic (and wodie).

-Danny Mac's delivery last night (Mellwood Arts Center location). Just behind North End Slice for me in the local power rankings.

-The version of "Simply Irresistible" that the UK Dance Team uses at Kroger Field is one of the creepiest songs I've ever heard in my life. Really uncomfortable. All that was needed was a giant projection of Larry Vaught smiling and nodding his head on the video screens.

-Thought our unis looked good Saturday night.

-Will people be having sex with each other's wives at the NOLA tailgate?

Chili is like a cheeseburger feel free to make it fancy but the bare bones recipe will be just as good.

I’m going to load it up with cheese and crackers anyway.

Yeah, wtf is that? Bizarre.

That said, the music & overall production has come SO FAR. Even threw some Big Tymers 'Still Fly' on :sunglasses::fire:

Tabasco is awful and I have no idea why anyone likes it or why it’s so popular. Sriracha, cholula, red hot, even Texas Pete’s can be used depending on type of cuisine and are better and just as readily available.

Saltine is king, but Oyster Crackers are fine.

Sneaky good thing to dump a box of in your buddy's bed, also.

-Tabasco is classic. I like Texas Pete for chili/soups as well. Cholula or Franks, however, is NOT for chili -- FOH. Your hat sass game is clearly wack AF, Ron.

Willy, that's because your from a city that makes the worst f*cking chili in America.

Saltines are superior in every way.

Tabasco might be good in chili due to chili completely covering up the taste of that awful abomination. There are so many hot sauces with much better tastes I have no idea how Tabasco and it’s 10 different awful forms it comes in is still so seemingly popular.

Speaking of hot **** my FIL grew a dozen Carolina reaper peppers over the summer and ground them up into a powder and put some in chili this weekend, didn’t bother to mention it. Half the people that tried it were crying with snot running down their noses, I couldn’t taste anything for a full day after the burning stopped. Absolutely no reason for anything that hot, you don’t even get a good taste what’s the point.

If you use saltines for chili in an environ with rich oyster cracker availability, your chili expertise claims are null and void, Jesus Christ.

I put a couple globs of peanut butter in my chilli. I also grill it on my Weber kettle
I put a touch of molasses in the chili last time I made it. I try to do something a little different every time I make it - you never know what's going to work and give you a flavor boner.

I'm avoiding work question.

If right now you were presented with this scenario, what would you pick?

1. UK wins the SEC East, UK bball bounces in the E8 but guaranteed to have Cal for 4 more years.

2. UK wins the SEC East, beats Bama but gets humiliated in the CFP and UK bball misses the tournament.

3. UK wins the CFP but UK bball goes on probation for a year and Cal is fired.
