So what’s more valuable to an 18 year old?

Get 125k to live in Sioux Falls and ride a bus to games in Des Moines to play in relative obscurity

Or

Get national attention and local adoration playing college basketball but you have to play school for 9 months.

I actually like that better than GLeague incentive & elliminating 1&D. So the people just looking to make quick $$ can go to GLeague and the rest understand the benefit to attending college from a branding stand point. That should eliminate the fringe.

By allowing the players to have agents most won't want their guys going up grown men in the GLeague risking exposure so off to college for a year.


Now speed the game up like BBdk said and either mimic the NBA or FIBA rules. I prefer FIBA for college.

I actually like FIBA because it's a bit closer to the college game.

I love:

1. shorter shot clock especially on on offensive boards
2. the free throw rule(which is awful in CBB)
3. the time out rules(which is awful in cbb)
4. Similar 3 pt line
5. Wider lane for better offensive movement
6. as you mentioned goaltending(after it hits the rim)
7. same length game
8. 4 Qtrs


There ya go. When we play in International events you've never looked up the differences in the games?

Yes, for verification but I mean have you all watched Team USA and not wondered about the rules? When the clock resets to :14 you don't notice? I've been saying CBB needs to update it's rules on here and twitter for years.

Most of them are pretty straight forward parts of the game.

3pt line, FTs, wide lane, clocks, goal tending, qtrs, etc.

Not sure how you can love the game of basketball and not enjoy the NBA these days. The product is 100x better than what most of us grew up watching from the mid 90’s thru early 00’s.

Seriously tho, glad a lot of you have finally come around on the NBA product. Took heat for years. You know it's good when a Top 200, johnny lately like anth sneaks in dropping FIBA knowledge like he's Fran Fraschilla. You want to thank someone though? Thank Nash/D'Antoni. His newer ISO stuff is garbage, I can't stand to watch it. Chris Paul is essentially a step-back jump shooter in 2018.

My issue with Philly is they don't have THAT GUY.

Tatum would have been it, instead they took Fultz.

Wish Minny would explore Butler to Philly for Covington and Saric.

Total middle-aged white guy take, but I have lost a little interest in the NBA due to the dominance of the Warriors. I’m hoping a healthy Celtics team can give them a run for their money, as I don’t think anyone in the West has improved enough to stop them.

As a lurker who has never met anyone in here not currently running for County Attorney I find it strange that Wayne is being given **** for being a middle aged white guy when he is clearly a middle aged white guy

Dude hates him the GET OFF MY LAWN establishment here in WOFOCO. He doesn't have time for their whiny *** antics. Just let the man park on the street (not habitually, as per the Deed of Restrictions Amendments states).

- The JW Marriott Hotel/Casino is about five minutes from my house.
Went to their sportsbook the other night for some opening night NBA gamble...planned on being home by 11.

Look at my phone and it's 4:15am and I'm on the roulette table with a group in town for a medical sales convention.

Just now recovering.

- Local races/initiatives are my favorite. If it wasn't for a huge pay difference, I'd do them exclusively. People take them so personally, neighbors that have been friends for decades will come to blows at city council meetings over a .0045% tax increase, new zoning, or city council candidate.

- My first A5 Waygu Kobe steak is happening Saturday night at Jean George's Steakhouse. Worth the hype?

- Got $10 on UK winning the college football playoff at 1000-1. $100 on the ncaa basketball title at 6-1.
