Doron Lamb may go down as one of my all time favorite Cats. Non chalant, old school game, pure shooter, national champion, etc.

Someone please find his quote before the UNC game in Rupp in 2011. The hype going into that one was all time and the dude said something along the lines acting like he was going to get up 15 minutes before tip, walk out on the court, make some buckets and get on with the rest of his day.

@Jeff Drummond any chance you have this quote? It was from a pregame article.

Any of the new followers of the NBA betting on it yet?

Just curious as to Portland being a 3 pt fav over Lebron in his very hyped first game a s a Laker.

Seems the smart money would go to Portland?

I was going to post this anyway but seems more relevant now.

Also, has LSU football ever had a bad "special uniform"?

Why would old white people be against an awesome golf place? That makes no sense.

And no, LSU units are sick. I know some on here hate it but I like the blueberry all blues for us.

Actually really pulling for Price tonight even though I’m not an AL guy at all(get to the plate you ***** pitchers). Easy to bean someone knowing you never have to worry about it. Bastardization of the game and whatnot. He’s had such a bad playoff career for some reason and I feel for him.

Playoff baseball and hockey are amazing. NFL...meh. College football is better and college b-ball is obviously the most exciting period.

I’d worry about the new G League offer for great high schoolers but being a UK fan it shouldn’t matter. The best players know they get a great brand and national exposure every day at Kentucky, plus they are pretty sure they’re going to be a lottery pick and 125K is a joke for most after one year at Rupp.

Just listened to a podcast about Andre Ingram the other day. 10 year d league player that got to play for the Lakers last year. Reminds me of my buddy Stevie Delabar that fought his way through the minors to make it to Seattle then Toronto where little E’town, KY helped vote him into the all star game as the fan favorite pitcher. Dudes a total goofball and can only imagine what he was like in the clubhouse.

Also, there’s a great HBO Real Sports with Gumbell that interviews he and his wife

Great effort today GYERO. I liked a ton of posts as they were interesting and informative. Thanks for the post work reading.

Agreed but LeBron is really going to want to win that first outing and he’s the most dominant/best player in the world for at least 3 more years, imo.

One of the vendor reps blurted out at dinner the other night that he worked for Sheriff Joe in Arizona. And happily invited all of us to come out there and shoot Mexicans since everyone hates them.

THEN realizes there are 3 Hispanic people in the group so instead of making that humiliating apology and just buttoning up, he proceeds to double down.

OH MAN, YOU GUYS ARE GUATEMALAN OR SOME **** NOT MEXICANS

Two of them were father/son from SoCal and are most definitely Hispanic.

That may have been the most uncomfortable, cringe-worthy moment I've ever witnessed first hand.

Catlanta really needs to change his avatar, imo. Visually it is so close to to rogue's that I automatically skip his posts and he's a solid poster.

I like the Lakers young talent, particularly Ingram/Kuzma -- but this year is all about next year, and is going to be a struggle. You have to surround LeBron with shooters, and they have basically none.

Pretty much the Cavs in Purple & Gold, but vs a ridiculously loaded conference.

-18 straight home opener wins for the Blazers. Easy Cue.

-This. Weather. :fire: Better bundle up Saturday, Richies735.

Little known fact, Lebron has now lost EVERY opening night game for the new team he has played for. Something like 0-4. (Cleveland twice, Miami, and LA Lakers)
John Wall has bulked up so much, he almost looks fat. Also, hate the beard / corn roll look.

Next year LeBron will turn 35 in December.

Ok?

He just had arguably his best individual season of his career. 27/9/9. I'm guessing he'll still be pretty decent next year.

Of course, it won't matter much if GSW stays together, but I expect them to have a competitive team unlike this season.

-Every time I hear footballs talking about Kyler Murray, this is the first thing that pops into my head.

-Meh, I'm alright. Just like getting you Wisconsin-ers a little worked up. Fall doesn't really bother me. Late January and February are the two that seriously crush me. Pretty pumped about bundling up Saturday night for the game.

-Taking it back to Dudley's tonight. Miss that place.

-BW game this weekend with my bestie, Geese. Even though he finds it's necessary to poke fun at my :basketball: takes. I'm wearing a Kyle Lowery jersey.

-Going to die on The Athletic hill.

-This place has basically become the McDonalds 6a breakfast crew yapping about the weather.

-Hagans in the top 100 CBB player by CBS with PJ, Johnson and Travis. Interesting they left out Herro, Green and Montgomery. I don't disagree but that's pretty high praise for out backup PG.

-That Duke-UK crew is really solid. Can't wait to spend 12 hours in Tin Roof with you all. Patachou :scream:

-:joy: @ Portnoy's pizza review of Brooklyn's Museum of Pizza.

-Benny needs to have a MONSTER game. I want to bury these fools.

-Anyone got a picture of Joker holding the “sack cancer” sign? Trying to humor a recently diagnosed, far too young buddy.

-Not so interesting fact: in the recent Buick commercial that’s airing nearly as much as the Barr/McGrath ads, the girl who says “YOUR BUICK DOESNT HAVE A ROOF RACK” is my cousin who’s from lex. Probably her biggest acting gig yet, aside from her weight watchers “after” picture ads (she’s never weighed over 100 lbs).
