* I spend the majority of my outdoor time recreating in vigorous exercise -- running. Heat indexes nearing 100 in October can kindly (pronounced like the bartender) get pumped, but not nearly as much as cold weather. Cold weather, as we all know, sucks.
* As the President of my local UKAA chapter, I help organize and promote our game watch parties. Given our mediocre football history, it's hard to find a place willing to show our contests -- and it's an absolute no-go if we're competing against LSU/Bama/UGA/etc. This weekend worked out great for a change, as there weren't any other big games at the same time, and it was a matchup of two top-25 teams. So we asked our barman at our regular game watch spot, and he secured us the back room, tv, and sound. Then ole boy texts me Saturday...
"hey, do you know some dude named [redacted]? because he called this morning and said he was bringing ONE HUNDRED Kentucky fans to the bar today."
"never heard of him. was he drunk? we get about 15-20, tops."
Well, it turns out our old college fraternity had their formal in town this weekend. So, I walk into the bar at 5:30, and it's shoulder to shoulder, wall to wall college frat boy Kentucky fans......and their dates. Place was standing room only. When we scored the first td, I thought the place was gonna get set on fire. Just bonkers. Couldn't hardly get in the bathroom as it was stacked fairly deep with dudes laying out the nose candy on the toilet. Perky little braless tatas everywhere. Not a hint of stress or pissiness for miles around.
* Calling for Gunnar Hoak isn't Billy Joe Wildcat at all.....
- I think most fans just want to see him get a few snaps here and there to give the O a different look
- most of our offense is handing the ball off to our all American running back anyways
- if TD Terry was a pocket passer, you could be concerned with shaking his confidence, but of course he's not
* Arnaud's last night with drxman and his lass. Good freaking times.
