The defensive stand after the interception has to be one of the greatest Commonwealth moments. Just electric.

Just for my own edification; can somebody refresh me on the terms and amount of 'the bet'?

Was it that neither Tiger nor Phil will ever win another major? Or was it that they, combined, wouldn't win more than one more for the rest of their collective careers?

And what was the amount?

Depending on the particulars I might offer to buy off some of it.

-spent the day finishing up what customers items were damaged in the fire. I'm emotionally done with it. Part of me wishes my place had just burned down. It's a long story but basically what is covered and what isnt is borderline criminal.

-come home to find out the washing machine is leaking water. Water everywhere. Fire, smoke, water, can get pumped...

-Tiger....just now watching his walk up 18, what a scene

-I chose a bad time to quit drinking

Bourbon 'n Tolouse kills all the other cajun joints (JGumbo's, Gumbo Ya Ya). There's no need to go elsewhere, really.

Found out today that the guys who started Bourbon ‘n Tolouse worked at the commissary that was bought by the owner of Jgumbo.

When Jgumbo grew too big for his small little kitchen to handle supplying other restaurants he relied on that same commissary to help produce his product.

So the owners at Bourbon ‘n Tolouse got ahold of some of his recipes by default and use a version of a few of them like the drunken chicken.

There is apparently a lawsuit going on too about the rights of that recipe.

All that said the Jgumbo dude spoke very highly of those guys and suggested I try their stuff because they did have a few really good menu items. So any suggestions?

One of the reasons the (British) Open Championship was always my favorite to watch since I was a kid was how awesome the scene was on the 72nd Hole when the crowd would engulf the final pair. Great stuff today.

I usually roll with etoufee over jamb.

Shew what a weekend. Thanks again to the Schem’s for another fun tailgate. Good to see you animals and meet Voin...although I was disappointed he didn’t bring any Koreans.

Just can’t even begin to verbalize how proud I am of the football team.

Pure laziness yesterday. Need one of those days every so often.

Already pumped for Saturday. Beat those cocks.

This might sound weird, but they have a caramelized black beans and corn dish that is awesome.

Its been easy to expect more from Dorian Baker, but I thought he played really well this weekend. His blocking down field is noticeable, and that was a big catch to set up a much needed touchdown.

The end of the 2nd quarter was probably the turning point from thinking "we can keep this close" to "we are the better team." When Watson actually attempted to take Fitzgerald's head off of his body to end the half- I think that quarterback knew he was in trouble the rest of the way. The rain probably didnt help the passing game- but the fact that we forced him to have to throw the ball to win says a lot.

Glad we are the underdog again. These guys like to feed off that undervalued feeling.

Ryder Cup week... The Open, and a Ryder Cup on foreign soil are probably the top of my sports bucket list. I'll pick the Euro's by a point and a half.

Not sure about that story. B&T is owned and operated by a retired elementary school teacher and one of his friends. Also, B&T opened in 2004, a year before J Gumbo's. Even if that background info were true, I can't imagine a lawsuit over a recipe still going on almost 15 years later.

You really can't go wrong with anything they make, but my fav is chicken creole. They have a chicken sauce piquant that's similar, but the creole is better. My girlfriend's go to is UCL's black beans and caramelized corn.

What that says about UCL...who knows?

Maque choux, Bumblebee stew, whatever...is awesome. PTI(pti) doesn't know **** about Creole/Cajun food he's fillin in for somebody.

-Still never had basic Cajun staples I enjoyed any more than Jozo's. Sampler w/ Jam, Etouffee (easily my favorite in that genre), and White Chili doused in Melinda's XXX & Garlic Power :fire:. Worshipped that place in college.

...although 80 Proof's Jambalaya is near perfection.
