TBH, the Joker hire was not THAT bad of a hire AT THE TIME. he was a coach in waiting, bad *** offense, great recruiter, and even more bad *** nick name. I mean UK had to give him a shot. Billy G on the other hand, no. Not at UK.

Anth, JT isn't my cup of tea either BUT I saw him at the Charlottesville benefit last year and the guy is a top notch entertainer. Got to give it to him, he keeps the peeps on their feet.

it appears The Orioles believe that blind people can only see braille words. I dont know if thats how blind works though. Otherwise this seems like its a big prank on the visually impaired.

Not too unlike this:

The blind must be hitting and fielding for th the Orioles, too. Sixty games out of first, and if they were in the same division as the Reds, they'd be 22 games behind them.

It’s almost like the blind people are already aware of themselves and the visual Braille patterns were meant to standout to the majority of the population, who can see things.

The Braille lettering doesn't' actually say Orioles or the player's name, but instead expresses an alt-right white-power message.

Cubs 9-1 against the reds to round out the season. Gotta love it.

It's a tourist trap for sure - what popular vacation/getaway spot isn't?

Gotta agree with Rogue, though, as the difference is the weather is perfect (at least when we go during spring break), scenery is unique for the US, food is incredible for a seafood lover, and it's full of open bars for the men and places to shop for the women.

The only thing I can complain about is the fact my wife HAS to do all the same touristy crap every. single. year. Well, that and the beaches are man-made and kinda ****** (Fort Zachery Taylor Beach is ok for a man-made beach, I guess).
Plenty of amazing beaches/sandbars close by just need a boat to get to them, which makes them perfect because no offense tourists aren’t there. Ft. Zach is pretty decent though.

Agree with Bob, January is a little chilly for a honeymoon here. It’s low 70s to low 60s and thats rough down here with the wind and humidity. Most locals are in toboggans and sweatshirts if it drops into the 60s or lower. You can’t just be biking or scooting around in that weather without being prepared.

Curious @wcc31 whats that hate for Rogan? You said he’s a meathead. Because he works out, has tats and calls some UFC fights? He’s honestly one of the best interviewers in the world right now. Not beholden to a party or advertisers. Asks people tough questions they don’t want to answer and can interview people on basically any subject.

Just don’t understand the hate. Maybe give him a listen.

I’ve still got my “ushering in the Billy Gillespie era” shirt somewhere.

Going to JT tonight, not a big fan but I know it’ll be entertaining regardless. What’s really stupid is I had knee surgery yesterday... people better respect the crutches and GTFO (see what I did there?) of my way.

Anybody on here who claims they weren't all in on the Billy Clyde hire at the time it happened is a f***ing liar.
This is correct but it was easy to get behind someone who was not Tubby, beat UofL and supposedly ate, slept and **** basketball. It was a magical time to have someone not Tubby. We should have hired a chimp tho instead.

Whenever I get on a boat down there it's to go fishing. Not to search out some sandbar where I'm not wanted because OMG I'm a tourist!

Although, my in-laws are snowbirds who live down there about 5 months out of the year. Does that still make me a tourist if I'm visiting locals? My wife has been going since she was 5. Not sure how all that works, technically speaking.

Andy Katz follows up leaving Keldon Johnson off the top 15 impact freshman for the coming year by leaving Reid Travis off a list of FORTY-TWO impact seniors.

He's been absolutely awful since he started writing for the NCAA.

I still have a soft spot in my heart for Joker. He is a Kentucky dude who got thrown in way over his head way too soon.

On paper, the head coach in waiting thing made some sense but it was a spectacular disaster that put UK football as low as it could be and took the impetus from Joker to go learn how to be a head coach on a lower level.

A **** sandwich all around.

What are the WORST jobs you can think of?

(And I don’t mean to just start rattling off the list of Mike Rowe-esque disgusting occupations).

- parking citation officer
- any customer facing/clerk government type job. electric company, water company, cable company, county clerks office, etc.
- bathroom attendant
- anything at the DMV

The automotive cashier at WalMart... I was waiting in line to get a key made and watched the poor woman behind the counter get increasingly exasperated as person after person came up, mad about prices (which she didn't set), mad about how long the work was taking (which she wasn't doing), mad because their car was broken (which wasn't her fault).

Almost everyone she dealt with was angry and probably a little panicked. No. Thanks.

Personally, I despise everyone who works a low paying government customer service job.

They continue to come to work every day, hating their life, and counting down the hours until their tiny little pension kicks in. And riding high on the misconception that they’re receiving great benefits in lieu of actual compensation.

F them all, imo.

Sports journalist. Can't believe some of these gyms have the audacity to serve Diet Pepsi instead of Diet Coke.
We're fully expecting an uprising if we don't figure out a pregame meal for men's games. Can people really be expected to come watch basketball for 2 hours without food provided?
