IMO, the crowd would go wild if we’d do a bagged milk giveaway. Maybe even have the bags come with a Top Button bobble head straw.

-I don't mind the promotion, my only beef is because I always fall in the white section and I hate wearing white to games.

-Anyone else spending the day reading every word of the employee handbook looking for needed changes in the next revision? No? Just me?

-JT tonight, not one of my top live performers to check off but should be fun. Man of the Woods:joy:

-Finished up Gulp (Mary Roach and I liked Grunt better) after a brief break to check in on Bryson's I'm a Stranger Here Myself. Started Tim Moore's Gironimo! (author rides a 100 year old wooden rim bike along the entire 1914 Tour of Italy route) with Adam Smith: Father of Economics and Icefall in the queue. Reading season cranking up.

-Balakey, 1p ish is a safe bet for 7p game.

-Feel rejuvenated, taking everyone off ignore. Tread lightly.

Still a big BGE user.

One of the downfalls of the electronic ticketing is the lack of a ticket stub for a big game. I'm a big ticket stub saver guy.

The best random twitter follows during baseball season is Kato Kaelin. I have no clue what hes been up to since he was staying with the Juice when OJ murdered those people, but when his Milwaukee Brewers are having a rough night- the internet typically gets gold-- like this....

Some barstool person called that Lena Dunham c*** a "dog abandoning bag of milk" and that's the greatest insult I've heard in 2018. Idk what it means, but it's great.

Milk Bag Mitch sucks.

Milk Bag Mitch sucks.

I think I've reached the point where I have grown to like the guy. Objectively, he's been a damn good AD after stumbling with the Billy G and Joker hires. I even sort of get a bemused kick out of his stubbornness with the checkerboards and the fact that he really doesn't try to be cool at all.

Jurich won a lot of battles, but Topknot won the war.

I believe (a) Mitch has overall been a good AD and is well respected by those he makes a point to take care of (media, donors, players) and (b) Mitch has an attitude of eye-rolling indifference for the “common” fan that seeps out too often.

I absolutely agree with this.

I was a big fan of Barbados, tbh. Less pushy than Antigua and the water/beaches were just as amazing. Tons of cool little boutique hotels scattered around.

But kind of hard to get to and not your scene if you're a AI-Sandals type of guy.

For an AD who has been at a Big school for 16 years, Mitch is beyond mediocre. Not a very long list of accomplishments for a 16 year tenure. I'm betting just about everybody in gyero could have done just as well, and we all would have skipped BCG and gone straight to Cal. Probably have an extra Natty because of it.

OK. It’s the Gatlinburg of the Caribbean.

It sounds like a cheesy tourist trap to me. At least, that’s kinda what you make it sound like. I’m sure it’s a lot cooler place for a local though.
It's a tourist trap for sure - what popular vacation/getaway spot isn't?

Gotta agree with Rogue, though, as the difference is the weather is perfect (at least when we go during spring break), scenery is unique for the US, food is incredible for a seafood lover, and it's full of open bars for the men and places to shop for the women.

The only thing I can complain about is the fact my wife HAS to do all the same touristy crap every. single. year. Well, that and the beaches are man-made and kinda ****** (Fort Zachery Taylor Beach is ok for a man-made beach, I guess).

If I was AD we'd have Cal, Petrino, and a top 5 golf team. Every other sport would be ****. Actually, if I was AD I'd likely have been fired many years ago for being a reactionary jackass.

Dude.

This Iowa State golfer being murdered isn’t getting nearly enough discussion. Not on GYERO or otherwise. Crazy, senselessly tragic story.

How many ADs have hired Billy Clyde and Joker types and stayed around long enough to talk ab

not many ADs get a chance to make up for hires like Joker and Clyde.
