- One of the more comical UK fan cheers I ever witnessed, was from a group of middle aged Cat fans walking down Broadway in Nashville during SECT weekend... Whenever they saw *any* supporters of another SEC school, one of them would yell "What's your favorite color BABAYY??" And then the rest of the group would throw up double birds in opposing fans direction and yell "F*** and YOU!!" They must've done it a hundred times and they absolutely loved it. Didnt realize it made zero sense. I remember thinking that would be the cheer to really set things off in Commonwealth. 60k yelling that and flipping people off...

- Pretty cool for Desales. Just to be able to compete on the field with 6A schools is a big deal.

- For the first time ever- we had someone come clean our house. I'm typically against that kind of thing since we have no kids yet and two grown folks should be able to maintain a clean household. But whatever- I dont think like that anymore. It was the best money ever spent.

- New England trip for Labor Day weekend... been awhile since we've been able to get out of town for a bit. Pearl Jam concert at Fenway to cap it off. Been looking forward to this one for a long time.

-First class of the semester, 9AM Wednesday. Another semester closer to retirement.
Ive got a couple 30 something messy friends that have clothes and crap everywhere. They clean like once every two weeks and one of them now hires a girl to come once a week. Don’t know how they live like that.

Fortunately for me, the gal can’t stand a mess so our house is always spotless. She’s a bit over the top though, I mean we have 4 roombas for God’s sake.

Kentucky football is running into a wall at full speed for 3 hours a dozen times a year while they convince you that it won't do any damage.

What a bunch of touching pussies.

The last couple of pages have been like The View discussing football.

I'm ashamed of all of you.

Seriously, back to back bowl seasons are what broke you gashes?

Where the touch have you been for the rest of the history of Kentucky football?

Holy ****. This place reeks of menstruation and essential oils.

SAE pointed it out on Twitter a few weeks ago. We spent 200 million plus on upgrades yet we have this chintzy looking plastic tarp covering the entire inner field level wall of Commonwealth. Cheap as **** looking and embarrassing for a SEC school. Very MAC like.
Not to mention there’s about a dozen different shades of blue since they didn’t opt for one custom color to let everything match.

Me: "I just can't get into the mood for football this year. Even UK. I mean, I'll watch every game but the energy just isn't there."

My Punk-*** Kid: "Why do you care? They're terrible."

Guys we beat Florida if we cover a wide open receiver once out of the two times it haopened that game.

If that’s not enough to give you hope going into this year then I don’t know what will.

The third and 6 dump pass we read perfectly, met the ball carrier at the LOS, then gave up a first down on was pretty big if we're going to relive that nightmare.

Also a couple snaps that went 5 feet over SJ's head. Funny, we had our center of the future sitting on the sidelines until about game 4 following approximately 20 poor snaps and killed offensive possessions.

After Drake got in I don't remember one. Quick learners, this group.

*Solid Sunday. Did my annual pilgrimage to the fair so I can get a pork chop sandwich. I don't know how they do it, but those are by far the best I've ever eaten. And I've eaten A LOT.

*My porkchop enduced bliss was short lived as I got a call from my Aunt in California saying my Granny isnt doing well. I went to surprise her for her 90th in March and she was doing well. She recently fell and found some other issues. Aunt told me it may be better to come and see her as soon as I can.

Woman was like my mother. She basically raised me. I'm praying she'll be fine, but 2018 has been the worst fukcing year of my life. So, #whynot.

Long story short, I'll be in San Diego in the next 3 weeks.

*Anthony Jeselnik in October. Pumped. 100% my kind of humor. I see Geese is going to. Maybe I'm cool enough to grab a couple of pre show brews with him. If not, eat ****.

How about a non manicured pos hedge around the field that develops a fungus and slowly dies over the span of 6+ years. Then Mitch finally digs up the hedge and replaces it with pos chain link that slowly deteriorates and rusts for like 10 years. Then we just turn the field in into a LAX pitch or whatever.

Yes, being a UK football fan is a sucker's bet.

Yes, it's stupid to think that we'll ever "turn the corner" and be anything other than a punchline.

Yes, we'll lose at least one game this year that we have no business losing.

Yes, watching our schemes/talent vs. other SEC teams' schemes/talent is watching checkers vs. chess.

Yes, it's stupid to get emotionally invested in something that is 100% guaranteed to piss you off and/or hurt you.

Yes, on at least 2,000 occasions this autumn I will drunkenly cuss the coaches, the players and the program.

Yes, I'll be there either in person or in front of the TV every damn Saturday hoping against hope that something good will happen because no matter how stupid it is, I love Kentucky football and I always have and I always will and if you're too cool for that then F you.
