Who here would have finished college if their current career did not require it and you could have just started after one year?

Anybody?
I worked at a lumber yard in college and could have quit school after a year and had a career in the lumber industry, but thank God I stayed in school and got out of that ****.

A A U of K, we are right for the fight today
Dribble that ball and head to the line
Ev'ry Wildcat 5 star will shine
We'll fight, fight, fight for the blue and white
As we roll to that goal, NBA
And we'll dribble, pass, and shoot til we make The League
And we'll bring home the money

Good stuff. One suggested amendment. My ggf wrote the music to that song, by the way.

My wife will sit mostly silent with me during games, typically reading or looking at dumb henpost stuff on her phone. But every game, she will make one little joke/pun about a player's name, laugh like it is hysterical for 5 minutes, then fall silent again.

A "Maxey pad" joke in the middle of a tense mid-February Tuesday night rockfight in Oxford may be in my future.

That’s good that you got out of it. I was an accountant for 5 years and being in lumber sales is a lot better than that ****!

Of course I’d prefer something easy, less stressed, no deadlines, and higher paying but I also don’t live in a fairy tale.

Scoop Lemond saying PJ is gone?

That guy is a complete dipshit.

He may ultimately be correct, but if so, it will be completely by accident.

He needs to stick to shirtless crowd-surfing, mindlessly yes-man'ing Jones while offering no insight whatsoever, oversharing personal details that nobody cares about, and making a complete clown of himself at halftime of games.

He's embarrassing.

I know Matt Jones was mentioning the possibility of both SKJ and Green transferring toward the end of the season. So I don't think "being recruited over" is the reason for their unhappiness.

I know most of you agree that this constant turnover is just frustrating.

Just last year we had an ideal roster, IMO. 3 seniors in Willis, Mulder and Hawkins, 2 sophomores in Briscoe and Humphries, 3 OAD lottery pick freshmen in Monk, Bam and Fox and a couple of frosh who seemingly had high ceilings in SKJ and Gabriel. It looked the future was set, too. Nope.

Culture, pussification, Trump, Russians, Hillary... what is causing these players to leave early with no shot at the NBA or to transfer to another school?

The fact that Wiltjer and Matthews both got a lot of exposure and played in Final 4's after transferring doesn't help.

Not sure we should judge the "F*CK LETTUCE" shirt so harshly. She could be some sort of Cam Girl that specializes in strange object insertion. Could even be a work shirt for her. You guys are so quick to jump to conclusions.

Good salesmen make *significantly* more than most accountants.

You kind of gave yourself away there, bub.

My problem is if she hates lettuce, by all accounts the least offensive of the vegetables, then she’s already flown past hating all of the other vegetables and we have a real obesity problem out on these streets.

I thought Washington was our most important player to get back still think that. I also think he is in the most unique position of being exactly what a NBA GM may be looking for and at the same time not ready for even the D-League.

For all of you baseballs that upcoming home series with UF will be fun.

I can handle the explanation of plot twists etc. but when shes on her phone/ipad half paying attention to something I am really into. NOPE.

This is brilliant by Cal, btw. Have a few under par seasons, let Jay Wright get all shiny for the Knocks and BOOM remove that possibility and a rival in one fell swoop.

If you bore a hole into a head of iceberg and popped that bad boy into a microwave...

Jay Wright is the rare college coach I actually think would crush it in the pros. If you think the Knicks are getting him you haven't been keeping up with how the Knicks do things. They're probably pissed Chris Mack is off the board. Tell 'em, BKH.

Romeo having his presser at his High School Gym, open to the public. Be a pretty bold move to spurn IU in that type of setting, which will be standing room only with IU fans. Looks like he's theirs.

Fine by me. Anywhere but Kansas. Also, he can go to Kansas if includes sh*tting on a room full of IU fans.

-Whoever said it's a strange off season/sentiment is dead nuts. Am I really kind of pissed Cal is slaying the recruiting trail? Because 2 months ago I was spitting mad when Williamson committed to Duke.

-Could Carey reclass?

-6-6 guys with no shot and weak handles are a real need these days in the league. Gatton typically has decent takes, that was not one of them.

-Lettuce is just filling in for someone.

-Sun, warmth... :sunglasses: :raised_hands: April is a solid 20 degrees cooler this year than last. Lolz.

Guess its possible Langford was waiting to see how some chips fell on the KU roster- but man- that place will burn if he doesnt pick IU. Seems like a long time to wait to announce though

Kansas is #1 in virtually every way-too-early preseason poll, but I just don't see it.

Dedric Lawson is a stud, but they're losing the 3 guys who've been the backbone of the team for what seems like forever in Graham, Svi, & Vick...and then Newman. That's a lot to overcome for a team/program not used to that kind of exodus.

Guess we'll see how Self handles a freshman backcourt. IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE.

...and De Sousa may not even play.

Self does not like freshmen back courts.

I'm not sold on anyone right now.
