Ok, so I know I'm just an old man that doesn't always keep up with the new fads, but I thought one of the biggest issues with the Wiseman kid re-classifying was that he would be here for 2 years. Would that not be the case with Hagans if he decides to and Maxey if he pulls the trigger?

You have to turn 19 the year of the draft. Hagans will be 19 this year. Wiseman won’t be 19 until 2020.

Again, shooters wanted.

There were maybe 5 guys on last year's team (sans ENG) that were capable of making a shot beyond 10 feet. And it is now a possibility that NONE of them will be on next year's team. Remind me again how Nova has won 2 of the last 3 titles. . .

Hope the new cats can stroke it.

Can’t really enjoy this recruiting explosion if it’s at the expense of veterans.

Last thing I want to do next year is wade through **** again for four months as our dumbF freshmen figure things out for a March run that will probably happen but who knows.

IF the payoff always comes, then yeah, I can handle Januarys and Februarys at the dentist, BUT 2nd Round, Elite 8 and Sweet 16 do not make it worth it to me.

I’m not some F’ing KSR sorority girl who is cool throwing up a 2011 three-goggle and catching a couple games at the Keys. Miserable stretches midseason are taxing on me. They affect me. I better get a payoff in March.

Well- as much ad I love our new dudes, they’re not Davis, Wall, MKG, Towns or even Knight. Not a damn one of them.

So here we go with an entirely new backcourt, who knows in the frontcourt another ******** Nov/Dec/Jan.

Remember when Green got the ball with like 5 seconds left in our season and he pissed down his leg then fired up some junk from 25 feet. Good kid. Heady player. Wish him the best. I think he would do great at IU.

Guess I'm for Minnesota here but they are getting some home cooking in regards to how physical they are allowed to play compared to Denver.

Hank, would you have been happy with 1 Final Four* and Zero championships?

That’s what Cal did at Memphis in 9 years.

But I, too, would like some of these guys to return. Do we think Cal is telling the likes of Humphries, Briscoe, SKJ, Matthews, Green, etc. to leave?

I don’t.

Who is advising these clowns?

Who here would have finished college if their current career did not require it and you could have just started after one year?

Anybody?

Probably not. But it certainly seems like Calipari puts little to no priority on retaining and developing upperclassmen.

Also, UK pays him 8 million dollars a year (or whatever) to coach UK and not run a D League squad. I'm all about doing right by players and if the NBA will give Shai, Knox, PJ, Wenyen, Richards, ENG, Pulliam, etc a guaranteed first round contract after one year then do the whole tearing up the scholarship papers routine.

But if a kid is not a guaranteed first rounder and if he isn't an off the court problem (like apparently Briscoe was), I'd like to see the head coach of the University of Kentucky do what is best for the University of Kentucky for a change and create a program that retains good players and gives them good reasons to stay in the program and develop.

I mean, when I hear the names Diamond and Silk, I’m not usually thinking about politics.

Maybe they were flagged as “unsafe for work.”

I'm assuming all this Green hysteria is from HOB or is it just the fact that we are recruiting guards?

I'm totally in favor of not guaranteeing scholarships to guys who come in and slack *** their way through a season to a 5-seed...

But that wasn't Quade Green. That dude worked hard, fought through injury, and showed toughness and leadership. Hope he comes back and gets plenty of run. We need experience and leadership next year more than we need another freak athlete. I'd happily take both if that's an option.
