If we are cheating and this is the team we came up with as a result, I'm going to be super pissed. That is some Kentucky Football level of cheating.

@fylm going to get in on the Top Chef Lexington stuff? Seems like he tried out for a similar show back in the day and was close to making it on there.

If there is a silver lining there, its that Pete Thamel wrote that- and hes swung and missed on just about everything.

Find it interesting how much these dorks are ready to bring down the entire system that is the backbone of their job.

My theory is in between made up and UCL. The recent press had all been against the FBI and how flimsy their case is. If they could pin anything on the big boys they would've already. I understand they raided the agent after but they've had a rough last 6 weeks with the case. Btw, another justification that government is ridiculous, why is our top branch of FBI investigating some low level bribes? Dumb.

Guess I should have bought BAT CATS season tix this year lol
We got 4 if you ever want to go. I think we're going Wednesday if the weather cooperates.

Cal saw all of this coming, and was hands off this past recruiting cycle. Wanted a "regular" team when all of the **** hit the fan.

Vet move IMO.

Don't know about that but Mike Bean thinks the Pitino stuff rattled him a bit. Not a bad theory.

Interesting that Thamel says all of this earth shattering stuff is going to happen, but then admits in the article that it is possible that none of this "evidence" will ever come out. So, the continuum of possibilities goes from the status quo to the destruction of college basketball as we know it. Helpful info there.

Top Chef is a different level of show, no offense to fylm, obviously. The people who compete on that show are typically among the better up & coming restaurant chefs in America. Pretty cool it's coming to KY, though.

Fylm could definitely do well or get accepted to MasterChef, Chopped, etc with a little luck, though.

-Feel like Saturday is as close to it gets as a "must win" for this team. Bama leads the SEC in Defensive Efficiency, and among the top in the country. Should be a dandy.

-NCAA isn't going to end itself by hammering 30 top teams...Louisville *really* got screwed in all this, it looks like. LOL

-I'd rather have 20 degree temps than this February warmup swamp period. This is ridiculous.

“This goes a lot deeper in college basketball than four corrupt assistant coaches,” said a source who has been briefed on the details of the case. “When this all comes out, Hall of Fame coaches should be scared, lottery picks won’t be eligible to play and almost half of the 16 teams the NCAA showed on its initial NCAA tournament show this weekend should worry about their appearance being vacated.”

Lottery picks not allowed to play?

We good.

I'm sure these lottery picks are really going to be upset if the hammer comes and they all just have to leave school a few weeks earlier than they normally would.

I watched Blue Chips last night, and something that has always bothered me is why the hell they cast Matt Nover. You have Hardaway and Shaq- two of the biggest young players in the game at that time... and the white sharpshooter they got played center in college and wasnt a great shooter. Thats when hollywood really started on this **** path, imo.

Also it's my dream to see Nick Nolte play Gary Busey in a bio-pic, or vice versa.

The reason this investigation hasnt made its way into college football, is because its so widespread they wouldnt know where to start.

According to the CFB board when the first story broke, it's because CBB is way, way more shady than football. These idiots honestly believe that.

- Thamel is a clown.

- Also clowns-

People who want their favorite sport burned to the ground out of spite. WTF?

I don’t know, MaxP, I actually enjoy CBB.

Boeheim even came across as a smarmy ***** in his :08 of cameo time in Blue Chips.

And why was Pete Bell running a plodding ******** motion offense with effing Penny Hardaway as point, anyway? Game had passed him by, clearly (I guess that was the point). You and Stands With a Fist can both GTFO.

Diallo plays a bit like Tony, imo.

I’m not big recruiting guy in terms of videos and what not. I just don’t find the value when it comes to evaluating in season high school competion.

I hadn’t absorbed much in terms of John Wall’s skill set other than I got the big picture stuff in terms of what his commitment meant to UK.

In October of 2009 I couldn’t resist. I usually turned down Madness tickets but not that year after what seemed like a forever period of UK being relevant. I went to Madness. There was the typical crap at the beginning with the pyrotechnics, etc. & then **** got real in my eyes.

John Wall started doing things in a warm up line/slash dunk contest. Everything seemed in slow motion. I literally felt like Nolte in Blue Chips while seeing Neon Bodeaux for the first time in Algiers. Everything was slow motion. Every skill & crazy athleticism was magnified.

You know you've arrived when the Zips want a long-term head-to-head. And they even invited us to play at their place. :100points:

My first Live PD experience and BBN is everywhere. Julio appears to be a Mexican crossdresser from El Paso rocking the pink UK hoodie. Unfortunately he was in pretty rough shape.

If you asked me, True or False: Briscoe was named MVP of Estonia-Latvia All-Star Game, after scoring 50 points?,

there are a lot of mental hurdles I'd have to get over first.

-Briscoe is playing in Estonia or Latvia this season? (I still don't know which).
-Estonia and Latvia have a League?
-That League has an All-Star Game?
-Briscoe dropped 50, and may be the best player in that League?

Does this merit a display in the Craft Center? Or does that dilute / undermine our brand?

I watched Blue Chips, as a freshman at UK, at the UK Student Center theater. I also watched Clint Eastwood's "Unforgiven" in the same theater. At the time I thought both were kick ***, but i was young and dumb at the time
