No “Sweet Dee Dates a Retarded Person”?
No ****, this amateur hour? Would also like to see “The Gang Dances Their Asses Off” and “Mac Bangs the Waitress” on there as well.

First few seasons were as good as anything in cinematic history imo.

“This goes a lot deeper in college basketball than four corrupt assistant coaches,” said a source who has been briefed on the details of the case. “When this all comes out, Hall of Fame coaches should be scared, lottery picks won’t be eligible to play and almost half of the 16 teams the NCAA showed on its initial NCAA tournament show this weekend should worry about their appearance being vacated.”

Props I guess to those of you who managed to avoid the engagement process becoming an additional holiday. She refers to it as 'ring day', as in "it's almost ring day", "happy ring day" and "what are we going to do for ring day."

Marcus do it on a day you're already going to celebrate. Congrats Doc.

If there is a silver lining there, its that Pete Thamel wrote that- and hes swung and missed on just about everything.

Find it interesting how much these dorks are ready to bring down the entire system that is the backbone of their job.

Is Thamel the most loathsome of all? Or is it Forde? Feinstein?

Good to see the Bengals get absolutely nothing for AJ McCarron. smh

#whodey

Leave it to the the only franchise worse than the Bengals to screw up that trade last year. That would've been the best trade in Bengals history. Now the Browns can get him for nothing.

The problem for the Browns (potentially) is... I don't think he is even close to being a quality NFL starter. I predict he will be a major bust for whoever signs him.

I guess I’m alone on this hill but I hope everyone gets busted for paying players. Even UK. Eff the NCAA. These players are asking for money because they’re worth money and the NCAA could have made reasonable changes to get these players something before/during their time making money for their member schools and billion dollar TV contract but they didn’t. So here we are. If this is what it take to burn this sham to the ground I’m #allin. Eff em. UK will still field a basketball team, etc.

There's a part of me that wants to see it all burn to the ground. The whole concept of "collegiate amateur athletics" is a joke.

The reason this investigation hasnt made its way into college football, is because its so widespread they wouldnt know where to start.

Currently listening to George Jones at work and it's making me want Cracker Barrel.

When I was younger, my dad sold an old bass boat to a guy who played guitar for George Jones' road band. During the transaction, the guy was telling us stories about Jones' backstage behavior, including the time he threw a pint mason jar full of cocaine at his manager's head. The manager ducked and the mason jar blew up against the wall, engulfing the backstage area in a cloud of cocaine. George Jones is my favorite American hero.

-will be fun to see how this shakes out in the media: billion dollar entity(ncaa) hammers schools for compensating (primarily) black athletes for their skill/time/risk all of which is used to enrich said billion dollar entity and their (primarily) old white male managment types. Gonna get weird.

-new athens boonesboro elementary on the books, 0.9% low this time. Im slipping.

Yeah, that Thamel article quotes anonymous sources, contains no timetable, essentially says absolutely NOTHING of substance. If he's proven correct, he can claim glory, and if he's wrong, he gave no specifics, so not really.

Someone said it well the other day: if it touches us, it's going to touch everyone of significance, and so be it. That will be the new normal.

In this age, the NCAA relies too heavily on basketball for practically ALL its revenue, so it's not going to bring down the system voluntarily. But if there is restructuring, that would be a very good thing.

I'm just glad that U of L got its own, singular humiliation before it all hit the fan for everyone else. Feel grateful about that, but UNC should have too.

Hope it takes Mark Emmert down. HAM. Enjoy prison without your bad toupee, *****.

I've never heard him speak, but I know with 100% certainty that Milton McGregor sounds like a gravelly voiced Foghorn Leghorn.
