-That's great, Willy. Chad, your fiancée going anywhere cool soon?

-Hate that Woj is leaving Yahoo for ESPN. I realize that he's the GOAT at breaking NBA(and now, some college) news, but I think part of his widespread appeal was the fact that he WASN'T connected with the worldwide leader.

-Promised my kid that I'd watch EVERY SINGLE Harry Potter movie before our trip to California(including Universal Studios) in July. Man, all this wizard crap starts to run together. Still, spending a total of 16 hours watching these movies>>>>>spending a total of 9 weeks reading all those books.

-CURRENTLY READING: "Showtime" by Jeff Pearlman. Loved his book on the 90's Cowboys, and his book on the 1986 Mets is in the queue.

-Read a cool article about a guy who sent handwritten thank-you notes to everyone who had a major influence on this life. I'm trying to do the same, and man....my handwriting looks like a cross between that of a second-grader and a serial killer. Between the illegibility and spelling mistakes, I doubt that any of the recipients will even know what I'm trying to express.

-did universal for spring break. Harry Potter stuff is cool for the kids. Mother in law went as well...in a jazzy chair. Annoying at first...until we realized that "old lady fast pass" got us moved to the front of the line at attractions not covered by regular fast pass. If you are not morbidly obese I recommend taking an old person with you...or rent one.

Hroger Field. I don't have a problem naming the stadium, really. More of a problem with the F'd up K.

Just started a 90-day weight loss challenge with some people in my industry. MyFitness App, Garmin step counting wristwatch, etc all on notice. Hoping to drop 30-40 by my birthday.

Rock House Brewery is a newer one in Lexington just off North Limestone, but the lass and I checked it out on Sunday. Nice little setup. The Gravel Pit Stout is $$$.

Trey Wingo replacing Greenberg on Mike & Mike. Might be more listenable.

Mike & Mike might be the worst show on TV/radio. First Take at least has comedic genius Stephen A Smith to produce memes and funny gifs. Mike & Mike has terrible sports talk, contrived hot topics of the day, terrible twitter interactions, and?

Harry Potter world was pretty cool actually. I mean minus the whole having to buy passes to two parks to get the full experience and such. And an interactive wand. Drew the line at matching robes though because MaxPowerrr will put his foot down.

The only other options are Morning Men (which I can only take in small doses) or Clay Travis (F that guy). Or the morning MLB Radio show to hear Steve Phillips talk about how smart he is.

-took G on a few flights when he was just past that age and he was great on 99%. Just have a plan if he gets upset. A bottle or pacifier or tit ready at all times. I'm terrified of taking him at 2 but really at that age they sleep most of the way.

-not interested in naming rights for your house Max. Sorry. Not building pergolas either.

-good luck, pdre.

Until last week I thought stamps were 32 cents. I haven't bought a stamp in a bit.

I spend most of my days at a desk or driving all over creation so I have a list of go-to regular podcasts
Eye on College Basketball w Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander
Baseball Tonight (spring and summer) w Buster Olney
KSR
Shutdown Fullcast but tbh I've slowed down on this one. Still enjoy these guys but sometimes the podcast just goes a little too far down the rabbit hole for me.
Post Show recaps Game of Thrones podcast during GoT season. Completely nerdy but they manage to make it entertaining
The Solid Verbal (fall)

I'll come back later and give you guys my tv schedule

Yeah really confused why you only listen to radio. They have millions of podcasts on any subject. Why would you listen to commercials? Stop torturing yourself.

-House hunting sucks. You know what sucks worse...getting your hours in order to sell. There seems to be no end in projects to complete that I've either learned to live with or have never noticed.

-UK baseball....I'm ALL IN on the bandwagon. I've always been somewhat interested in their success since Madison and my Dad played professionally together, but never followed. They are a fun team to watch.

-Derby party at my house this year. #2 ****-tastic thing in life for me is getting the house "wife approved" for people to come over. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SWIFTER UNDER THE COUCH!!!!! Of course...no telling how many people will be looking under the couch for something and find a missing sock, change, nutty-napkin, or finger nail clippers. Ugh.

-KSR has some pretty dope commercials that's all about either increasing or decreasing things. Increase your penis. Decrease your belly and prostate. What's that demo, again? Either way, right up my alley.

-Mulching again tonight. The worst thing about trading in the AUDI for a small SUV is the multiple trips to Lowe's. 8 bag limit in the new hog.

-Kroger Field. Count me in as someone what doesn't give a ****. It's always going to be Commonwealth to me.

-North Korea. Am it right?

- Have them deliver your mulch - well worth the $50; where are you moving to?

- After 2 weeks at our house, the exterior has been painted from red brick to white, I was against it for 3 years but damn it does look good

Sports Talk radio in Louisville is 99% trash...with the exception of Jason Anderson on ESPN 680 3-6. Highly recommend. From Kansas City and just tells it like it is with none of that toe the line BS.

<-------Has lurked GYERO since he was in high school. Essentially using it as a road map. Get to read about it a couple years before it happens to me. Not excited about the pergola and one night out a month days.

-How do people become horse racing experts? Like these guys I meet every year who have "the scoop" on which Derby horses I should bet are mostly degenerate gamblers, I get that, but how does one become a college horseball? What channel is that on? What sites are you reading?

-Those of you with kids, is Under Armour cleaning up with that market? Seems to be the strategy for them going forward. When all the Braxton's and Paxton's get to the League in 10 years, Nike may have a shoe war on their hands.

-Love Marrow's promise that this was the last year UK Football will have no one drafted. Hope the 30 for 30 on him someday meets my expectations.

Bad news for Under Armour is that my kids - and I assume others - have already figured out that their shoes are trash. It's all Vans and Nikes at my house.

-Actually UA is losing money at the moment from what I read recently. They have thousands and thousands of Inventory of their top shoe (Curry 3) that no one even thought about purchasing.

-Pedigree, jockey/trainers, speed/distance figures. Pretty much use those and any novice can make some decent money from time to time.

Selling massive amounts of $200 shoes is a hell of a business model. Convincing people they need multiple pairs of these $200 shoes per year is genius.

It's your house, and glad you like it, different strokes for different folks and whatnot. But I despise seeing the natural beauty of a brick home ruined by a paint job.

There's some McMansions near where I live and 1 of them painted their brick exterior shortly after building. Went from looking sharp to turning my stomach every time I pass it.

* 4 days in Hermosa Beach/LA. Mercy. Basically, everyone there is pretty and thin and fit and active and rich. It's like the opposite of GYERO.

* From a few pages back......Mags mentioning that you don't read many actual randoms anymore. Frankly, I think a lot of people are afraid to put themselves out there. Mention anything personal, offer a hot take, brag in any way, and you're basically just teeing up the next conversation to get clowned about. Lots of pansies on here. Many of these folks can't stand the heat.

* I seriously get anxiety if I go an entire day without ordering something off of Amazon. I know there's cool stuff out there that needs me, now what is it??
