B Rax is disappointing for a lot of reasons but him not using not Kyle Tucker to talk down to people on Twitter is near the top right now.

Love this thread. Thanks everyone, sincerely.

The Kroger thing, who cares. Not one person you know will say "I'm headed down to Kroger stadium, you coming?"

Well all say we're heading to commonwealth or the game. Whatever. If they change Rupp, fine. It'll still be blah blah @Rupp Arena so who cares?

- I've always liked the Commonwealth Stadium name. Never for a second thought it was a placeholder or generic... always saw it as a unique name linked to our state. I get the reasons behind the change but for a football first fan it just sucks. Moving on.

- "Mr. Right" is a surprisingly interesting/quirky movie. Bonus points for Anna Kendrick.

- This A&E documentary on the 92 LA riots is really good. Was 14 when all of that went down and still remember being shocked by the police verdicts and the aftermath.

- After all of the UK/Higgins nonsense I started reading a few officiating blogs/forums. What a weird, defensive bunch.

- Think it's very entertaining/borderline hilarious when the Reds throw Arroyo out there but I just don't get the point.

...except that before tonight, the Reds had only won 3 of their last 11 games. Arroyo started all 3 of those games. Yeah, he's getting roughed up a bit, but the lineup seems to rally around him when he starts.

Kroger logos on 25 yard lines

Lmao yea right. Believe it when I see it, I guess.

Caught some of Mitch's apology to fans on the news. It was just as you would expect. Basically, it pains him to do this, but he has to do what's right for the kids, the program, and the enterprise. The kids....who are getting CTE and being used as feee labor so Mitch can sell fn 25yd line ads to Kroger and make stupid money.

We all get it, it's business, dirty fn business, so don't act like you're doing some noble thing here.

Oh wow people are actually giving a **** about a sponsorship for the football stadium, I thought you guys were joking yesterday. The Boston Garden is called the TDAmeritrade Garden, after that happened nothing was sacred anymore.

Nothing better than May and the added energy all the sunlight brings, love this time of year.

They need to shorten the NBA regular season - its too damn long and the NBA playoffs end up being about 3 months. Hard to get into it when there are so many damn games to be played. Will probably start paying attention here in a month.

Taking our 10 week old on a plane ride to Florida here in 2 weeks. We are going to be THOSE people. I hope she's good and its not too huge of a hassle, we love to travel and get stir crazy in the same spot so I hope its manageable, long road trips are my personal hell.

“Why,” asked Bryce Jordan, the president emeritus of Penn State, “should a university be an advertising medium for your industry?”

Vaccaro did not blink. “They shouldn’t, sir,” he replied. “You sold your souls, and you’re going to continue selling them. You can be very moral and righteous in asking me that question, sir,” Vaccaro added with irrepressible good cheer, “but there’s not one of you in this room that’s going to turn down any of our money. You’re going to take it. I can only offer it.”

Been considering having a pergola built at our paddock level home but blasted beelzebub it sounds like it's up there with constructing the Hoover Dam.

Maybe I've been confused by what a pergola actually is, but assuming it's this,

how in the world it costs $8k is beyond me. I guess fancy designs and whatnot, but Lord, you're setting 4 posts level and plumb then screwing **** to it.

Took our daughter to Beach when she was 12 weeks. The humming of the engines put her to sleep for the entire flight. You should be fine.

That is a pergola. I believe these folks are saying 8K which should include it being built.

Willy is asking for a 28x14 and what you posted is a 12x12 it looks like. So there is more material involved, and he wants Cedar so it's a matter of a premium product and laborers not wanting the job.

That thin grid of shade will keep Marge safe from harmful sun exposure for a couple minutes a day, too.

Especially when it has a retractable Infinity Canopy system installed.

The design for my pergola will look a little more like this. Sort of a combination of both pictures. The basic shape of this one, with the traditional cross beams like pictured above.
