Chad... Victory Summer Love Ale is tasty.

Typically like frosties of the Mexican variety in the summer. If you can find this stuff, grab it. Randomly picked up some at a gas station in Owensboro.

Promise each of you on a hot *** day with the sun beating down if they're iced down to perfection you can easily knock back 15 plus.

The Jurich/PAPA fued has a really weird feeling here in town.

Also was really hilarious that they are preaching how transparent the Athletic fund has been through the years, and then they discover that the most profitable athletic department in the country is having the lights to athletic events funded from the University and not the athletics fund, of which most of the board KNEW NOTHING ABOUT, except for one guy who violently claimed he knew because Ramsey told him at a softball game one time.

THEN.....there was a 6 million dollar bonus that is + ACCRUED INTEREST going to Jurich that the board also KNEW NOTHING about.

Transparency friends.

Say what you want about Mitch Barnhart and Sandy Bell but it is nice to know that adults are in charge of this program and there will be none of this nonsense.

What kind of clown show are they running up there? Are they not simply embarrassed?

Lost in all of this is that that TOMMA now has to report to the UL BOT and President for the first time in his tenure.

All of these UL dolts pounding their chests about the Papa resigning from the ULAA board claiming victory TOMMA don't realize this and also probably don't realize that Papa probably wants no more of this dumpster fire mess with the audit findings coming out soon.

Say what you want about MEETCH, but his AD tree is as impressive as anyone's out there. His guys go to big schools and do well. You don't really see that with TOMMA. The only one of his crew I can think of that got a big AD job was the gal at Rutgers - and she has been a trainwreck by anyone's standards. The fact that UL has - for years - footed the utility bill for UL athletics is an absolute joke.

I will say whatever I want about Mitch bc he's a damn Clown Show and the only reason we finally beat UL in football is because somebody made that idiot hire a cheater thats capable of cheating it up with the rest of the SEC.

The University of Louisville..."We keep the lights on."

Great for the state IMO, especially with the decline of coal.

Listening to ksr:

-jones and crew calling harry potter/lotr peeps nerds is laughable. Wrastlin fans/fantasy sports guys/jocksniffers are as nerdy as it gets.

-fantasy sports=dungeons and dragons for jocksniffers.

-never read hp or lotr...everybody geeks out on something...but jones and co show a staggering lack of self-awareness.

It is just a slapdick operation. Embarassing.

There is a lack of basic integrity that shines through. I'm no great fan of Mitch Barnhart but the difference between him and Jurich is glaring and I'll take Mitch every time.

I mean those idiots are absurd and it is a hanging question as to why the decent, responsible supporters of that program aren't in open revolt.

I doubt the Reds will win the Central in the next few years, but if they want to look for a glass half full approach- 3 years ago today, when the Cubs were at the peak "BURN IT ALL DOWN" approach- they lost a game to the Reds in which they played the following:
Emilio Bonafacio (currently 2-18 this year with Atlanta)
Ryan Kalish (not on an MLB roster)
Luis Valbuena (a career .230 hitter, but a decent ball player)
Ryan Sweeney (no longer in the league)
Mike Olt (no longer in the league, maybe dead?)

That team also relied heavily on guys like Junior Lake, Arismendy Alcantrara (currently hovering around .170 with the Reds), and Nate Schierholtz. That team still had some good pieces that continued to improve, or somehow became valuable to other teams- but that roster was pretty ugly. The scrap everything approach is painful for a few years, but you can recognize talent and make some front office moves while reserving some cash.

Typing ' hire Theo Epstein from Cubs' would have saved you a lot of Where Are They Now research, but I'm sure the trip down memory lane was fun.

- So Lonzo Ball's dad was trying to shove his homemade brand down Nike, UA and Adidas throat and they all told him to go pound sand. Fantastic news...

..and if I'm Lonzo, first I purchase some Clearasil and hit the weights. Then I hire an agent and instruct him to never speak to my father, just me on all business deals while getting as far away from that nutjob as possible. At least until I've signed a few contracts and he's gotten the point.

- If I'm getting after it, I'm still a Miller Lite/Hudy Delight guy but I've come to appreciate a little crafty variety when in casual situations- usually on my couch with my dog.

- Good to have you back, Ruddy. Still drinking that French piss?

- Listened to Tucker's pod with Jerry Meyer. I like Meyer a lot- a dude's dude. I get the feeling UK fans are going to love this class. It's not freaky. This isn't a "ceiling" group but its full of tough SOBs. Washington is a man- physical, skilled, great boardsman. Vanderbilt is like a MKG/Jones hybrid who can guard, pass and hit the glass. Green is the consummate pure one. Richards will need some time but he's big, physical and athletic.

Meyer also likes Baker a lot. Says he's just a shotmaker. And he LOVES Alexander- thinks he's a pro. If we're talking upside, this is the dude in the class.

- This happens to me every 5 years or so but kinda on a GD Elton John kick. Not mad. Time and place and all, but That dude has some songs.

Ok, so you're head of podunk POS metropolitan UL and you have two candidates - Mitch and Tommy. Who you hiring.

Ok, now you're head of world renowned SEC power UK. Who you hiring?

This ain't rocket science. Two totally different ballgames.

Have an Elton John playlist on deck at all times. There's not a better playlist to take a jog to either

I know its fantasy and that's nerdy but there are many reputable literary people that consider the Lord of the Rings the book of the 20th century. NERDS!

Jurich is Al Davis... Just Win Baby. It's hard to find any Louisville fans who are bothered by what goes on there unfortunately this is true of sportsfan in general. Look at the Baylor boosters who still want Briles, Penn State fan shows over and over they don't get it, UNC fan who ignore 20+ years of institutionalized cheating but also a very sordid racist aspect (much like Whoregate) to their scandal as well.

I'm going to put this in words your ghetto *** will understand.

If you hired Jurich, in your hypothetical, that is basically an admission that you (the admin) doesn't know what you're doing and will sacrifice integrity for the hope of results.

You would basically be opening a can of deplorable chaos on the front lawn of your campus.

On the flip side, you know what you're getting -- boring, admittedly, but basic competence and integrity to the highest degree.

If you choose Jurich over Mitch, that's a you problem, frankly.

All Mitch needs is alcohol sales at UK games and a new Rupp/Coal Arena deal that bankrupts Lexington-Fayette County!

Wonder if anyone has warned Sydney MacLaughlin about Vaught yet.

There's a good chance he'll be in jail this time next year because of her.

(God help her, he's already started retweeting things about her.)

Don't care what kind of person it makes me but I'm pretty glad that #fyrefest was a complete disaster. Can't imagine the level of of dbag that would pay 12k to attend something like that.
You dont think Ja is worth that kind of coin? Were you not around when he was putting out banger after banger with Ashanti and J Lo?

Show some respect. Dude was in the Fast and the Furious.

So Larry Vaught is a dirty old man. Who gives a ****?
