What pisses me off the most about Diallo:

Calipari had to be complicit in this nonsense. And I'm convinced it shook out something like this....

Hamidou: "Yeah, I'm going pro. Don't really give a F about college, but I do need to kick it somewhere for a couple months. Maybe just get in some good practice and throw on a jersey for a little recognition. Free training, weight room access, etc. But will absolutely not be playing or going to class for any reason whatsoever."

Cal: "Cool! This will really help my brand!!!"

[sick][sick][sick]

Don't get my wrong, I *worship* Cal. But I'm going to absolutely s*** the first time he starts hyping this up with his bs spin. "I mean, get this, Diallo DIDNT EVEN PLAY at Kentucky, and he went #17 overa.....I mean....WHAT?!!"

Shutup. You believe he wrote that letter and he's a late late 2nd round pick. Idiot.

Mfer is cold blooded. Whipped our entire team full of p*****. He was too good to play college and knew it from day when he famously stepped on the court wearing skinny jeans and made Bam cry.

I didn't understand what monk said to him on twitter - "not like that".

Was monk in his dms like "here's a pic of the letter you need to send to BBN" and Diallo was like "k" then just tweeted out the pic without saying anything. Just flopped it out like "hey BBN you like?". Then monk told him that wasn't how he was supposed to do it? Idk.

I love Queens tho. We need more players from there.

*cannot wait till hear MJ lecture BBN on this today. Probabaly talk about mean tweets BBN sent to Hami, and how we should be appreciative of this young man and yadayada.

I get what you're saying. But I'm pretty sure we are the winningest program since Cal took over, so in a broad sense those two things do overlap.

* After being out on a Friday & Saturday this Spring meet, have to concede that the track is much more enjoyable during the work week. Never a line to bet, grab a drink or micturate. Easy to navigate the paddock and grounds while still losing a considerable amount of coin.

* Always a great time at Casa de Schem, the hosts never hold back. Also nice to see Dr. Boat.

* 7 in a row for the Nats. Offense is raking and starters are have gone deep, which is much needed to mask their craptastic bullpen. Closer by committee never works. Gonna need Rizzo to address this with a quickness.

* Nice little swim, yardwork and opening of the Nation, yesterday [smoke].

* We've already got the winningest program thing on lock. Would prefer a little more hardware to show for this era. JMO. TIA.

* The perfect jams for you parents of young uns...

Flow charts are hard to do in this format.

Did you win the title?

Yes. No.

Cool. Win it again. Get pumped. Win the title.

This is probably the stance of a complete sociopath because it means we've succeeded 8 times and failed 107 times, but who cares. You guys know me.

The more I listen to some of these sports writers, the more I think about how limiting it is that we even field a basketball team. How many of these kids have dreams but aren't good at basketball? What it they're good but basketball isn't their dream? What if Zion Williamson really wants to be a poet or blow glass sculptures?

To truly be a players first program we should scrap basketball and adopt a business model similar to the make a wish foundation, but for athletic freaks instead of sick kids.

The argument being made by the Kyle Tuckers of the world about why UK fans shouldn't care that Diallo may leave is this: "It's not your life. It's his. If he wants to go, he should go. You shouldn't care about what he does."

So dumb. So very, very dumb.

For one thing, if UK fans didn't care about what UK players did, then Kentucky basketball wouldn't be Kentucky basketball. And if UK fans didn't react passionately when something negative happens, then they wouldn't react passionately when something positive happens. There wouldn't be 24,000 people cheering as some 22 year old dude from Bullitt County awkwardly proposed to his girlfriend. There wouldn't be an entire state rushing to the defense of a 5'3" kid from Chicago when some rabble rouser from Indiana says he might not be a top 5 PG. There wouldn't be hundreds of 37 to 39 year old dudes in the state named "Kyle." (Weird, but whatever.)

Of course nobody should make personal attacks on a kid for wanting to become a millionaire, but the whole "you shouldn't care what these kids do" finger wagging from a bunch of keyboard nerds is just stupid.

Along the same lines, how does that argument work with the "one and dones are ruining college basketball" argument? You shouldn't care what they do.

-We're at the stage where G wants to listen to a song 150 X's in a row. Super cute the first time -> Holy f*ck I never want to hear "Hand Clap" by Fitz & the Tantrums again.

It doesn't end.

14th in final poll and lose their best rebounder and possibly best shooter/scorer. Doesn't seem like a stretch to me.

Not to mention their coach for probably 10 games but whatever
