Never heard Larry talk. He has a stutter? Sounds about right. Brings the whole package together.
Diallo declaring for the draft, not hiring an agent...
F***.
F***.
Call me Billy Joe Wildcat but Hami is definitely not a Wildcat Friend Forever if he stays in the draft.
Not his fault cap didn't play him. We literally had no 3 man, played fn Briscoe there to our demise, and this is just stupid. Cal shouldve played him....
But Hami should have def not played if he was planning to go to draft, so whatever. This is another instance where cal did the right thing for the player, and I'm mad bc I'm a selfish mfer.
Still assuming he's not going, because I figured he'd test the waters, but even I wouldn't be a fan of a dude coming in 2nd semester and bolting.
I have zero problems with "one-and-dones" but this is some ********.
Figured he'd go get evaluated, but that's quite a lengthy statement he made for someone planning on returning . :eyes:
I think Cal really got used here. Obviously he'll spin it in a positive direction, and I'm assuming he knew the game plan all along, but the minimum expectation to receive the benefits of La Familia should at least be that you f'ing play for Kentucky at some point.
GO COACH THE KNICKS C**KSUCKER!
I mean, we're basically the D League now.

My favorite Hamidou moment was when he cheered on the bench that one time. He clapped real good.
I'm willing to give a pass to Kanter because he was royally dicked over by the NCAA and I'm convinced he made Harrellson better.
Not sure even the biggest homer could spin something like this kid making someone better this year.
Probably has a broke *** shot like Briscoe and doesn't want to get exposed.
Makes me wonder if something shady was going on around Diallo and Cal agreed to let him come to UK and wanted to give the NCAA long enough to investigate it l, but Diallo had to agree to sit out as to not get UK the death penalty in case the NCAA found anything.
Just a thought.
Just a thought.

I love Calipari, but we have to evaluate what the hell we are doing if Briscoe, Humphries, and Diallo all declare without doing a f***ing thing.
I like players first as a motto, but the University of Kentucky employs Calipari and that has to be the fiduciary duty.

I love the day in May or June, whenever it is, our roster is finally set. The days leading up to that, not so much.
Much easier to be a UK fan in this time period if you don't really pay too much attention from after the season ends to June. There's plenty of nice distractions and you end up sparing yourself lots of pointless hand wringing.
I mean I wish the kid well but I'm not listening to someone like Kyle Tucker telling me how I should feel about it. GTFOOH with that ********.
Wonder when UK will announce the dates and locations of his autograph tour?
Should be epic!
(Autographs $2/, buy 3 and get for $5)

The thoughts in my head were a lot more clear than my words.
Regardless, EAD.
Y'all are generally all over Cal's nuts for doing the right thing for the kid, understandably so from a mature and reasonable standpoint. So, what's so different about this? Cal did right by the kid. Amazing story, tbh.
Do we really want him back? If he even thought about using Kentucky as a free training facility on his way to the NBA, which is clearly his intent by declaring, that's enough to turn me irrevocably against him. Eff that effin' effer.
There's a little too much White Knight-ing from the media on Twitter right now. I believe in Players First as a philosophy, but we're not a charity and Cal isn't a social worker.
We're not ******** because we want the team to win. Let's not forget where the "Kentucky Effect" comes from, where all that money for the facilities, the TV ratings that get you on ESPN 30 times a year... It's all of us selfish ******** out here. The relationship between players and program needs to continue to be mutually beneficial.
