Sounds like my luck, Clark. Sorry, man.

On the bright side, it appears the bad luck baton I've been holding for the past 8 months has been passed onward so this seems like a really good opportunity for me and for that, I thank you!

Death threats to a ref seems tame compared to faking cancer for a year to get money from friends and the community. Go Norse!

Shew, I know that family. Pretty unreal, she definitely needs some mental help after she deals with her legal troubles.

I've said it before but Clark is a fan comic strip heel. Jesus, buddy. That cloud just follows you around.

Stumbled upon Saint Mary's College today...pretty dope little spot. Had to see the gym after seeing it on late night WCC games on ESPN so many times over the years. Definite "cool" factor, but it's basically a slightly nicer version of Knights Hall. After seeing that campus and setup, there is absolutely no reason Bellarmine can't make a jump to Division 1. Seems like an easy transition with the growth of the school in recent years. Plus, it's good for the state.

That Baylor documentary on Showtime...whoa. Bliss should have been charged with obstruction at the very least.

Such an odd case and we'll probably never know what really happened.

But yeah, Bliss is a huge piece of ****.

The character always **** on. Dark cloud following them. Etc. Heel is more of a villain I suppose and Clark is the good guy always getting the raw end.

After looking forward to visiting Augusta for a couple of decades, today was finally the day. Was like Christmas morning. Up early to drive over from Atlanta. Arrive, get parked, get inside to watch about 15 minutes of range work, grab a pimento and beer.... then the sirens went off. Everyone had to evacuate.

Sat in the car for a couple hours, then got word they were re-opening. Waited in line about an hour to get back in the gate. Got in and I **** you not, 5 minutes later, siren goes off and they cancelled everything for the day.

I never got to see an actual golfer on the course.

What's the general attitude of attendees on a day like that? You made the Christmas analogy - are some guys acting like kids whose Christmas is literally snatched away? Is there a pall over the gallery as it exits the grounds? I have to know, because I'm sure it will happen to me when I attend and I want to know what I'm in for.

Wrong, 73. All decisions that could affect the betterment of Louisville need to be run through TOMMA. We certainly can't improve the overall quality of life in this sparrow fart town if it doesn't benefit UL. It's that simple, really.

-Better watch knocking DJ. Cutesy will not stand for that. Any slight towards any golfer or golf course or golf club or country club or tee or golf balls or flag sticks... no criticisms. It's a perfect sport with perfect players.

-Aldean, Church, Bryan, FGL, Rucker... all dogshit.

-Don't really get the hate for Masters coverage. Live streaming starting at 7:45am. Most normal dudes are sitting at their desk all day. Stream away.

Tuning in to masters.com and seeing the beautiful early morning sun bouncing off the range makes me feel even worse for Clark.

I think I would have just said "eff it" and gone fist deep in the family cookie jar and made sure I got a ticket today, price be damned. Plenty of your natural born life to seek forgiveness.

Cash Advance from an agreeable rewards card should have done the trick.

Hey y'all, it's been a while.

-I'm geared up and ready to go for the Masters. DJ is such a rascal. No doubt a few ice cold domestos played a part in his fall. Spieth is my BOLD prediction to win this weekend.

-Gonna break the sticks out this weekend for the first time. :golf:

-Roy Williams making $900,000+ in bonuses for the national title, while the players got a shirt and hat. [eyeroll][eyeroll][eyeroll]

-Just watched Louis CK's new Netflix special. Phenomenal. Liked it better than both of the Chappelle specials which were also great.

-Hyped for season 3 of The Leftovers. Highly recommend if you haven't seen it. I put it right up there with GoT and Breaking Bad as far as my top shows goes.

-Blogging life is fun. I try to take as different of an approach with my posts as I can. It freaks the readers out sometimes, I think, which leads to entertaining comment sections.

-Jason Aldean blows.

Happy Masters :sunglasses:

To answer some questions, no, Augusta National does not have a rain check policy. Just chalk it up to a loss for the day. But putting it in perspective, there were people that had a much worse story to tell. Buying badges off stubhub for $1k, flying in from the west coast, etc...

We never saw anyone overly upset with the staff or anything. Sad and frustrated, sure- but with weather- i mean there isnt anything you can do. If there is lightning around- you pretty much need to shut it down.

The only head scratcher was they wouldnt even let people shop for merch or stay inside the gate- away from the course during the evacuation. I wouldve been content hanging around drinking a few beers and buying some dope gear, but it wasnt meant to be.

For the 25 minutes or so that we were inside- it was pretty awesome. And during the 1st evacuation it became a tailgate party in the parking lot. Met some really cool folks from all over the map.

We'll try again in the lottery next year and hope for a better outcome

Got back to my roots yesterday before the storms rolled through. Took the fam to see my dad in my old home county. My kids have been asking to go fishing for a little while now, so "Poppy" hooked them up.

We went over to one of his buddy's farms (an old farm that I have hunted and fished on when I was growing up). Ol' dude has a pond stocked full of hybrid bluegill, crappie, and channel cats. To make sure his grandkids got a bite, Poppy threw out a bunch of fish food to "chum up" the cats. Once the catfish got to rolling, we cast the kids lines out there. Their lines weren't in the water 45 seconds before they were jerking those bad boys up into the bank!

Came home with 8 catfish that averaged about 4 pounds a piece. The boy got a big kick out of watching them get cleaned and fileted (is that it's heart?!?) Going to have a nice little fish fry tonight!

Hush puppy recipes?

QuitoCat always swore hush puppies were one of the hardest things to nail that she ever cooked.

-Made some 'Squeeze Bottle' Taqueria style creamy green sass last night -----> Unreal, and amazingly simple.

6 Med/LgJalapenos
1/4 Onion

^ Boil 15-20 minutes, remove stems.

2-3 Garlic Cloves
Teaspoon of salt
Little Olive Oil

Add all, blend for 3 min, refrigerate ----> 100% dead on your favorite Taco Truck. Keeps up to 2 weeks. :fire:

I think it's Rickie Fowler's time.

What's his personal life up to these days? Did he get married?? Or is he gonna seal the victory, and then trot out some random college age hussy in her skimpy duke's and side-boob t again? His W at the Player's was pretty epic, imo. And golf needs way more of that.

^ Rickie's my pick.

Pretty big collapse last week, but his game is there. That dude just has life figured out.

-Coverage always annoys me, having to wait until 3pm to watch on actual Television (and not just 2 featured groups and a few select holes on a streaming device) will never not piss me off -- but at least the Masters App is the best sports app. :100points:

-You pick golfers just like any other sport. How they're playing, their potential, their history, the venue, the value.

-One of these years, maybe next, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and commit to going. Lay the plans out well in advance. I have a free place to stay. Need to just do it. Outside of the NCAAT, Derby and probably NCAAF it's my favorite event.

-Would love for Rickie to get one. Went with Jordan and then instantly wish I picked Rory.

Killa's Uncle has played Pine Valley.

-Almost threw a future on my boy Gary -- that guy has been pretty much a waste. What a talent.
